  1. Exar Kun says:

Note: I was serious: would love to get a scaled reproduction of the wall sculpted battle representation inside Palpatine’s room!!!

  2. Exar Kun says:

What’s next? The Palpatine wall suculpture (should be nice^^)

  3. sith collector says:

they look great ! alot like the ones in the star wars visual dictionary , i purchased some of these in cold cast bronze from a crew member at fox studio in australia , they were alot cheaper than these , although nice pieces !
    k d

  4. Matrix of Megatron says:

These are HOT items…Nice to add to ones collections

  5. Ray the blast says:

I certainly would love to have these two babies,of course I would rather win these in a contest. But these would have to be the oringinals or signed by actors, to be important enough to display, of course my oringinal posters sighed by all cast members is worth more to me, then these paper weights. But they are a very nice collectible. Great work SSC.

  6. Thorgrimm says:

Beautifully made, nice job SS.Could you guys do them in polystone(to bring down price) with a bronze like finish? What about a stone or marble finish?

  7. news says:

Cristopher – each of these pieces that are sold have to be manually processed, so if you’d like to pay via FLEXPay the customer service department will be happy to set up a personalized payment schedule at the time your purchase is confirmed.

  8. Christopher Plummer says:

NO FLEX-PAY for these??? What the Hell??? Come on Sideshow….At least make some polystone versions for us common folk. Jeez.

  9. Tom P. says:

Time to hit the craps table! Come on, dice…anything but 7 or 11! Daddy needs a new pair of bronze Star Wars statues!

  10. Sir Tristram says:

They’re only making 25 sets and they are $2,500.00 per set.
Sigh…..Oh, they would have been nice to have in Polystone or faux bronze. Oh, well. I’ll add them to ther category of “Look what cool stuff is being made that you can’t afford” – just like all the new WETA swords and Bronze statues! :(

  11. Ian says:

I don’t get it- when will these be available or order? And is it only at comic con?

  12. French_Sidious says:

    Wow !!!! Amazing!
I wonder the price and the scale (in cm) of those wonderful pieces of Art.

I also wonder why to make so few of them.

  13. WhineyEmoFanboy says:

I think some of you are missing the point. Yes, these are very collectible and are going to be very expensive…that’s the idea. Sideshow is not going to mass produce everything into the thousands (edition size). That’s what high end collectibles are all about. We’d all love to see these come to polystone, so maybe they will listen, or do the gentle giant bronze finished thing…but they will not be the exact size or ones you’ll see here. Am I whiney in envy over whoever gets these? Yes…but it’s still awesome that they do things exactly like this!

  14. sanguis88 says:

okay, okay… so you give us 25 in bronze for the HARDCORE collector… now take those molds and give us 1500 in something we can get AND afford! please!!

  15. andre says:

If only I had the money and space you guys seem to think I do!
Seriously, though, really wished you guys would bother to gauge people’s interest in these BEFORE publishing an edition number that’s so arbitrarilly low.

  16. puay says:

If this set is in 1:6 scale. I do wish SSC would release cheaper version these statue made of maybe Polystone?

  17. SDR says:

Wow ! I can just imagine the price. I would have liked them… but wow ! only 25 !

  18. Grant Hanstein says:

Wow. Those WOULD have been really nice in my future home office. However they are so limited and I am positive the price is insane so never mind.

  19. Daniel says:

I would love them but i imagine the price will be insane.

  20. Ace thebathound says:

Awesome! When do they come out?

  21. puay says:

    Got to agree with Sompeetalay.

  22. Paul says:

    Don’t understand why in bronze

  23. banersd says:

A must have for any DARK LORD!

  24. Sompeetalay says:

It’s a shame if these were to be too expensive. They’re excellent accessories for the Palpatine / Sidious 12″ doll.

  25. Suleyman says:

Piece of art. These two can be displayed forever and ever.

  26. ty says:

Those are freekin awesome! I wish they could have released a cold-cast bronze version in a larger edition size cause yeah.. those are gonna co$t!

  27. manny says:

    that’s freakin’ wicked!

  28. Steve says:

Man,I was really looking forward to this until I hit the link and saw the edition size. Way to make stuff only rich people can afford,Sideshow. :(

  29. SilentSurfer says:

But are these 1/6 scale from any source material?

  30. Thomas Boone says:

Those are great. But is there any chance you could make those available to 1.) those not attending COmic-Con and 2.) at a reasonable price, even if they aren’t made of real bronze? I think this is a great route for you guys to go, to make replicas of set pieces. Please, please, make these available to regular collectors at an affordable price. They’re fantastic!

  31. Chris says:

I’m with you on the price point, but they are cool. Maybe do some lower cost resin ones that look all metalized. Those would be neato. i’d buy a set.

  32. SirStevesGuide.com says:

The real ones are sitting at the LucasFilm Theater (Presidio). I am also wondering the price…

  33. CollectionStation.com says:

    Definitely something a little different…

  34. J.T. Box says:

Yes junior, you are looking at your college fund. A safer investment than daddy’s 401K.

  35. General Tiin says:

    Excellent piece for collectors

  36. Rich says:

Bronze? So, about 4000 dollars? So, why exactly?

  37. jdsolo says:

    Wow, now those are cool.

  38. mask freak says:

    Very interesting.
