I recesntly had a death in the Sideshow Star Wars PF family. Asajj Ventress fell to her death off the display shelf. Needless to say, She is broken beyond repair.
Then my brain clicked. I was asking SS to create a cloak for this Jedi Luke PF. SS never replied to my request. Since Ventress had a cloak, I took it off of her broken body and now I’m waiting for my exclusive Jedi Luke to arrive. Once I have him, I will place the cloak on him and then he will be complete like my cloaked Darth Maul PF. Can’t wait.

Anyone know exactly what the “adjustable placard” is?
Great PF! BUT, EX Blaster, not feeling it anymore. ENDOR PONCHO and HELMET ALT HEAD wouldve suited the pose a lot better. Giving Luke Jabbas palace Vest and gun, needs too many options, ungloved hand, with/out saber and jedi cloak. At least endor gear wouldve suited him, and it hasnt been done to death. Overall i will display him with saber only. id happily pay an extra $10-20 for an exciting EX. More thought should be going into these i think. its great, but SS has the talent to make it much better. How about getting some polls going for what kind of EXCLUSIVES people would like to see instead of polls about blu rays and stuff?
Hum you guys this is the final confrontation with Vader pose and he has no cape in this scene. I don’t know why you want a cape for hime when he lost it at Jabba’s palace at the begining of the movie! Get with the program. It is a asome sculpt and I agree the pose is alittle out of element, but over all great. Movie accurate even with out the cape.
I agree with Ben’s disappointment at the lack of the cloak, and LOKI’s right when he says the pose is a bit awkward, especially with the blaster exclusive instead of the saber.
LOKI’s also right when he says it’s WAY time for a Shaak Ti PF! C’mon, Sideshow! We double-dog dare ya!!!!
Chilax people, the saber does light up. It’s a great sculpt, of course, it’s one of Trevor’s. Not in love with the pose. Really expected more of a fighting stance. Now that we have 3 Luke’s, can we get a frakkin Shaak Ti!!!
Ordered it, think I love it, but could care less about a blaster, the saber BETTER light up!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
WARNING TO SS: I noticed that Luke is wearing his glove when he is using his light saber, BUT his replacement gun hand does NOT have his BLACK GLOVE. WHY THE CHANGE? Please fix this.
Since Luke is a Jedi knight the cloak would have been a better choice for an exclusive item more than a simple gun. Jedi knights are beyond simple blasters and they’re mysterious characters.
BTW- Since SS did NOT give Luke his Jedi cloak, so I had to ask my friend to make him one. He made Darth Maul’s robe for the premium figure and his robe COMPLETES him.
NOTE TO SS: From now on: If your next Star Wars premium figure has a cape or cloak…PLEASE INCLUDE IT WITH THE FIGURE. Right now SS is selling incomplete premium figures. QUESTION: Would you sell a Superman figure WITHOUT his cape?….NO WAY!!!

Note: Overall I really like this Luke version.
At least I hope the size will be right so to display with the Darth Vader Premium Format. Somehow the pose might not be right but might be a good change from Kenobi vs Vader PF.

Well after that wait and some issues trying to click onto the icon, I see error message. Took a whole 5 minutes to get it. I’m not sure about the light saber. Doesn’t seem right. I was hoping the exclusive would had been a black cloak instead of a gun or saber would light up. Though the sculpted of Mark Hamil is fantastic. But still pondering if this could had been better. Well I have till spring to decide if I want it or not.
Finaly I can go back to work. 10am waiting to click on the Exclusive to order one while avoiding getting stuck on conf call
Now not sure if a Blaster was the right Exclusive to do as you can’t display it with the light up lightsaber. So should have do a swap for the other hand instead. Well still looks a nice piece to have.

Vader and Kenobi are very nice. Ventress and Talon are from Clone Wars and a comic series so they are gonna have a different look. I like the pose, he is on alert and ready to take down some imperials.
I say about SW Premium. I have Kenobi and Vader, great premiums from Sideshow.But Asajj and Talon is very anime style, not angry and bad girls,look like sexual and horny boosty anime figures, not from Star Wars universe.
Luck’s head is very nise, perfect. But he’s pose not jedi’s pose and look like afraid, hidden or thief,he’s steal some Death Star’s awesome))).

This looks GREAT! I can’t wait for this to be sitting on my shelf next to my lightsaber replica.
The head sculpt looks amazing; there is a lot of detail there that truly embodies the features of Mark Hamill.
The pose is good, as well. I like how he is in a “ready stance” priming to either defend or strike against his father – it’s subtle, but present.

How does this look anime to you below?? The figures like Mara Jade and other EU characters arent gonna sell like this and other core characters. Lost the spirit?? What???

Head is very nice! But statue is not look like Star Wars, look like anime figure, Sudeshow lost spirit of Star Wars, waiting release like Kenobi and Darth Vader Premium!!!
Also, where the figures Darth Revan and Darth Malak, where Kyle Katarn and Mara Jade?

Looks good! I guess this makes the Luke trilogy realized. Please don’t let the Luke/Yoda be your only “Empire” Luke. I’d love a PF figure in full Bespin fatigues. Removable hand for the exclusive? C’mon, guys, It would be a great figure. Also, a Bespin Han and Leia would be pretty sweet, too. What can I say, Bespin is where it all goes down in the original trilogy; it’s the pivotal point in the series.
OUTSTANDING! truly the best Luke skywalker figure I have ever seen. It looks like the scene from one of Jabba’s skiff barges when Luke witness’ Han’s predicament.
I guess the time has come for my first Jedi Premium Format. Well done Sideshow!

Should I be disappointed that SS has gone with Luke AGAIN? Probably. But, in fact, I am more disappointed I cant get this one. This one looks much better than the previous two; both of which were highly disappointing: Luke1, with his mutant fingers, Luke w/Yoda with his excessive paint on one side of the face. Neither of which really looked like Luke, as much as this appears to. From the video, it looks like a job well done; even if it is yet another Luke. (But, this is ok, I suppose, for now, because I cannot afford too much right now, anyway).

Excellent rendition of Jedi Luke, must see if the figure comes with a base (depicting the floor of throne room). A must for premium format collectors.
I think Sideshow should reissue those figures whose lightsabers do NOT light up as a Sideshow Domestic Exclusive.

When will we have a PF Stormtrooper thats what we all want but if your going to do another Luke it should be an X-Wing Luke or at least the Bespin having said all this a Jedi Luke is better than the Dagobah or classic PF Lukes released.

It looks very nicely done. I know alot of people have been waiting for this, and from the looks of it, Sideshow won’t disappoint. It appears that the exclusive version will be a must have for the hardcore PF line collectors.

If you watch the teaser, he is clearly in the outfit from the final duel, but one of the pictures here shows the tunic and belt from jabba’s palace etc, that’s probably the exclusive. Works for me!

I don’t typically order duplicate PFs of the same character and I’m happy with my New Hope Luke PF, but I think I’m going to get this one–it looks terrific.
