wish 1 of 12
  1. http://www.coldesi.com/dtg-hm1-c-garment-printer.html says:

I’m impressed, I must say. Actually hardly ever do I encounter a blog that’s both educative and entertaining, and let me tell you, you’ve gotten hit the nail on the head. Your thought is excellent; the issue is one thing that not enough persons are speaking intelligently about. I’m very glad that I stumbled throughout this in my search for something referring to this.

  2. droog says:

I only want to buy Half of them! There are so many great things here – I’m especially excited about revisiting the Buffy Licence and the non-movie Conan statue. The only downside is whether I can afford all of it! We may be approaching the too much of a good thing point.

  3. Febrianto says:

Does anyone knows when the Carnage will be available for priority pre-order? I’ll deeply appriciate it. Thanks, God bless.

  4. Janet says:

I feel that Sideshow has let it’s lord of the rings fans down. where is the rest of the fellowship in the 12″ figures? I have bought the 6 released but 3 are still missing. of what use is an incomplete set. From comments I have seen earlier Sideshow has no plans to complete the set. This is very dissapointing and discouraging.

  5. gumby says:

What do I think? I think DJ is right on the money and cjflan32 is right out to lunch.

Does anybody really care which licence is the most popular at the moment? Are some of the people around here so insecure that something as trivial as this is really important to them? Fact is, licences come and licences go. No one stays on top forever. During the years between 2002 and 2006 LOTR was the most popular SS licence….ever. The amt. of statues/busts produced, and the ES’s were staggering, and will never be duplicated. Today it is Marvel, and who knows what will be next?

This was never an issue about which licence is most popular. It was simply about LOTR collectors wanting something to cheer about. I’m sure even some of the clueless SW and Marvel fans out there can understand our frustration. One PF over a 14 month time span is something we were simply not too happy about. And for that we are accused of being a bunch of whiners. Now I don’t recall a single LOTR fan being upset about SW and Marvel collectors getting preferential treatment, they are after all, the 2 most popular licences SS currently owns. What we did take offense to however, was the constant crying by SW fanboys in spite of the fact you had already gotten 3 new sneak peeks. You guys, seemingly, are never happy. No matter what SS does you have to complain. Enough already. It’s time for some of you guys to GROW UP!

Yes, SW and Marvel are today’s “bread and butter”, but surely some of you brain surgeons recognize that SS simply cannot cater to two licences, and two licences alone and remain as the #1 collectible company in the world.

  6. Gordon says:

Carnage is way too cool. Look at the muscles or should I say symbiote. It’s so detailed and I love the part one arm changed into weapon as that is how carnage is. I cant wait for spiderman and definitely will be getting this piece. Best piece I’ve seen. Any chance can there be 2 exclusive? 1 will be the print n 1 unpainted version? the unpainted version really looks good! =)

  7. ETi says:

Hey THE ONE so i guess your’r the Bread and cjflan32 is the butter EH! What you think Gumby?

  8. The One says:

Preaching to the choir DJ. SS knows what their bread and butter is which is why SW and Marvel get priority. Simple as that.

  9. DJ says:

    To cjflan32:
Frankly it doesnt matter whether Star Wars has been around 30 years and made more than a billion. The “phenomenon” and “juggernaut”; as you call it, is really just 6 movies, some comics and a cartoon series, among other media. Yes LOTR and SW are directly comparable because LOTR has been around for 70 years and is the number one selling book trilogy of all time, has all the related media, and blah blah blah that debate could go on forever.
What matters most in this case is licensing and collector bases, not that SW is better than LOTR or vice versa. Sideshow only bothers with licenses that they know have profitability and a consistent collector base therein. Everyone keeps mentioning the LOTR 1/6 line “flaming out” as you call it, which was (and is) controversial, but what’s alot more noteworthy is that why, if the LOTR line isn’t all that important, didn’t SS just drop the license altogether??? By the way the ToyBiz line didn’t flameout either, the company was dissolved by Marvel Enterprises and they made 6″ LOTR figs from 2001 thru 2006. Not to mention United Cutlery and HCG are intro’ing a bunch of new LOTR weapon prop replicas,, why would they do that if there was no longer a market? Conversely, no company favored SW pieces more than Master Replicas,, they virtually moved their whole production to solely SW props, and, as awesome as those pieces are,, what happened to MR? They went bankrupt after that, now talk about a flame-out!!!
The fact is Sideshow hasn’t dropped LOTR altogether because they know it’s profitable and popular – case in point; check out the Best of 2009 Poll, what’s the PF with the highest number of votes? That’s just one example. Looked at the LOTR PF page lately? Any LOTR PFs in-stock? How about the SW PF page, any of those in-stock? See the difference?
I think I can speak for all LOTR collectors when I say that we aren’t asking for the market to be flooded with LOTR pieces like SW is, but at least give us a little more than 1 PF and 2 dio announcements in 14 months. Same goes for any license that Sideshow has, if they have the license and the collectibles sell, why let them wither and die on the vine???

  10. VinReaper says:

First Bullseye and now Carnage! Not only do I feel faint, but I think I am going to PASSSSssssss oooooouuuu……..

  11. Duh Mass says:

I hope all the new and improved retooled 1\6 figure body intended
for use with with hobbits is going to be used for jawas, a breakdancing yoda and what the hey even R2.

  12. Eric Tieman says:

Not sure why someone wouldn’t like both the Star Wars and The Lord Of The Rings movies. As far as SideshowLovers comment, about how Clerks II described The Lord Of The Rings, who cares. I never saw Clerks II, but I do know it was written an directed by Kevin Smith and if he talked crap about those movies, he doesn’t know jack. Peter Jackson started out making low budget movies too, but the difference is he’s moved on to make epic blockbusters, that are loved by millions. I’d like to see Kevin Smith have the balls to do something that epic, but I guarantee you it would probably be nowhere near as good.

  13. ETi says:

To cjflan32…Please stop comparing The Lord of the Rings to Star Wars…Star Wars is a miltibillion dollar movie only because it been around for about a hundred years…so buddy no worries give it some time and you’ll see that The Lord of the Rings will do the things that Star Wars did..and don’t worry buy the way its going its gonna be in a far far away galaxy over multi billion dollar…..

  14. Mint Collector says:

    One more thing,
Anything SS puts out usually sells out rather quickly. It is not limited to Star Wars. All I was trying to say is give other collectors a chance for once to be excited about an announcement to look foward to. Sideshow does not revolve around Star Wars. Sideshow revolves around where the money is, plain and simple.

Sideshow thank you for making all the products you make for ALL collectors, not just selfish Star Wars fanatics. You do good things for people, and don’t ever stop what your company does.

    Nuff Said!

  15. Tom says:

2010 is gonna be a great year for Marvel PF and comiquette collectors. Carnage comiquette, Spider-man comiquette(mentioned in the Carnage video!), Wolverine PF, Sabretooth PF. Also, probably coming up are Gambit, Cyclops, Colossus, Spider-woman and more.
    NICE WORK SIDESHOW.

  16. SDJ says:

I am not a big fan of light up features and think they should be kept in the SW line. But… What if you put a glow in the dark crystal in Gandalf’s staff? No batteries, no wires, and you will still get a light up effect if you want it. Just a thought.

  17. Anthony says:

Interesting selection of previews, pretty much a little something for everyone.
So I guess this means we have to wait another year for that Firefly/Serenity PF line then.

  18. cjflan32 says:

To all LOTR fans, particularly Gumby: I enjoy the LOTR Trilogy a lot, but don’t even pretend your three movies based on three books can compare to Star Wars. LOTR is a billion dollar trilogy, Star Wars is a multi-billion dollar phenomenon. You see the difference? Three movies compared to a juggernaut.

With respect to SSC great 1/6 LOTR line (which I collected) it was a flameout. The Toy Biz line was a flameout and when The Hobbit is finished the merchandise there will flameout too.

Star Wars is a 30-plus year phenomenon that has gained steam long after its movies have aired in the theaters. You can insult SW fans all you want the fact of the matter is SW is more popular than LOTR will ever be.

  19. Kay says:

    No Avatar previews?! SAD….

  20. Sktch4fn says:

    and…………we’re done…:)

Thank you to all of the people at Sideshow……

  21. Firefly2121 says:

AWESOME…I can’t wait to get Gandalf the Grey & Mola Ram PF…THANKS SSC!

  22. DJ says:

Amazing Comiquette,, if the paint app matches the Carnage LSB,, then it cant get any better.

  23. Mr. Green says:

Now that all is shown, I am sure most are satisfied. I like SW, LOTR, Etc, but not as a collector. Conan is so tempting…the best Conan by far. Carnage looks good but I’ll wait for the Spiderman comiquette. I guess I’ll settle with the Hulk 1:1 bust; more Hulks will eventually come no doubts. For next year, please make a female wizard/sorceress as the second of the Diablo III series. And maybe I’ll get to play the game once Blizzard get their acts together.

  24. radicalmichael says:

These last twelve days have been fun. Thanks for the excitement and the great previews Sideshow!

  25. Sideshow Fan says:

Even though we all did not get what we wanted I still think we owe sideshow a round of applause. They have been doing fantastic work. And for that I thank you side show.

    (Random Lone Applause)*Clapping*

  26. The Ween says:

Thank you, SS for the LotR GTG PF. This will be my only purchase from the 12 days. I can only hope that it isn’t nearly another year and a half before we hear of anything else new. Please let Gimli be next!!!!

  27. Darth Snoopy says:

    Cool stuff, SS!
Was hoping for an annoucement on Ms. Marvel, Spider-Woman & Shanna the She-Devil statues from Frank Cho. Oh well…I’m a patient little beagle. :)

  28. ETi says:

NOOOOOOOO! was hoping for somthing from LOTR….but at least that way my wallet is still safe…I am a big Marvel fan but no collector but take a look at that Carnage…WOW..simply put just Fantastic sideshow, Would definately be amazing standing side by side with Venom and Spidy..
But even though just one LOTR..I’m still happy cause i still have the Shades of Mordor and the Battle of the Last Alliance on the way! Thanks Sideshow for these 12 exciting days!

  29. daniel bowyer says:

YAAAAAAAAAA! “CARNAGE”! YES, YES ,YES. This is going to rule when I have my Venom and Carnage side by side. Very interested in what spidy will look like.

  30. ivo says:

Regardless of which lines were offered, the sculpting quality is simply stunning! Now Sideshow, don’t ever look back, & maintain the, (dare I say surpass!?), quality to the standards only you can establish & achieve. STUNNING!!!!!!!!!

  31. gumby says:

    Hey SideShowLover,
Please forgive us LOTR collectors for being so greedy as to want some LOTR goodness after going the previous 14 months with one single PF announcement.
And Einstein, not only do I not even have the slightest clue what this means “LOTR was not even of a series”, I’m afraid to even ask

Maybe you’ve been living in a cave somewhere [or under a rock], but the LOTR movie trilogy, is only the most successful [both critically and financially] movie trilogy of all times.

  32. Steve says:

I have to admit that I was really hoping for a WIP video of the 1:6 Commander Cody. But those we got were pretty damned awesome too.

  33. peter says:

Wooot Carnage and the Spidey. On a side note i hope they look at the arm that is becoming a weapon, not to sure about that part if the design. :)

  34. Michael says:

Thank you Sideshow Collectibles staff for this 12 Days of Sideshow event. It was nice looking forward to some of what was coming out in 2010!

  35. The One says:

ROTFL!!! Good thing Mint Collector doesn’t run Sideshow…they’d be out of business!! LOL!!!

  36. Tom P. says:

Sideshow, you have offered up TOO much collectible goodness in this event! I shall now seek out a night time job to help pay for the soon to be occupied spaces on my shelves and display cases! Just in case some of you fine fellows (and/or ladies) posting here would like to take up a “Tom P.” collection, here is my list of must haves for 2010: Yoda vs. Sidious, Conan & Babe with the fine tushy!, Mola Ram, Leia vs. Jabba, AND….Gandalf!
Thanks for another sneak peek, Sideshow! It was fun!

  37. eduardo thumas says:

What!?! What the hell happened to the 12inch figures starwars!! Count dooku, yoda, apprentices you know obi-wan so he can next to my gui-gon. don’t forget apprentice anakin from the clone wars with the little hair tail. how about darth nihilus. Love you guys!! Sideshow your the best!!

  38. Tango78 says:

Hmm.. I hope that we don’t have to wait another half year for TOD Indy PF.
Other products look fantastic! Sideshow, there are at least three pieces I have to order. Keep up the good work and bring us TOD Indy PF soon please:-)

  39. paul white says:

im with mint collector what alet down sideshow same old statues already been done only thing to look forward to is gandalf who picks what statues to make i would like to know

  40. Johnny says:

i m speechless after seeing the last clip…Thank you for making alot of the Marvel fan Happy in the end & brought us this Amazing piece of sculpture :)

  41. chris says:

    YES

All collectors kneal befor the Marvel GODS! ;)

Right onthe money SS, another kick-ass comiquette!!!

  42. Nico the Saint says:

    Snore….

Best thing in these videos has been the blurry Hulk bust in the backgrounds. Though my interest has been piqued by the Conan statue.

  43. Mint Collector says:

ENOUGH! with the Star Wars already!
Almost 1/4 of the previews are for star wars figures. All they do is keep using the same characters in different forms and SS is milking the Star Wars peeps for everything they got. Unfortunately the star wars peeps do not see it that way. They are blind by their dark desires. How about some items for the collectors other then the Star Wars freaks? SS please listen to your customers, what happened to the dead line? Is it dead? Haven’t seen or heard anything about it lately, not even nothing new in spooktacular. Thank God, I got one of the 10 international Patient Zero PF’s. SS, I love your products, but please cut back with the Star Wars. The movie and excitement has been dead for years, start looking towards the future with some of the great lines that your company offers.

  44. Tom A. says:

Carnage looks awesome! The only thing preventing it from being an immediate buy are those tendrils…how on earth will this thing be packed to prevent breakage??

  45. coup says:

baaaah… i kinda was kinda getting kinda sick of all the kinda’s but i’m kinda glad now that i will be able to kinda save cash in 2010,

although these next 2 months my bank account is going to be kinda hemorrhaging …. happy new year.

  46. mikki del rosario says:

though it’s not a LOTR piece that would close this year’s 12 days of sideshow, at least i’m happy that it’s not another SW piece! yahoooo! i’d be able to save up a bit more this year!

  47. malice is waiting for s sneak peek at the ringwraith PF! says:

man that carnage piece looks “hella balls to the wall awsome’!

  48. SideShowLover says:

Well 12 days down and only a couple items i really cared for.

The one thing i got really tired of reading in the forums were these pleads for more LOTR items. Which I could care less for LOTR was not even of a series. Books were better than the movie. I think Clerks II described LOTR perfectly.

  49. gumby says:

Did I call that one or what? [As I pat myself on the back lol]. Carnage looks simply awesome!!! This will go perfectly with Venom and the inevitable Olivetti-based Spiderman comiquette.

  50. oz says:

Thanks Sideshow very much for not putting me through pre order pain over this xmas.
The 12 days of previews were great, but as an alien and predator fan I didn’t fare so well…

  51. Mike says:

No more wizards or nerdy hobbits.
REAL MEN would like more G.I. JOE!!!
Destro, Zartan, Beach Head, Baroness, Stalker, Gung-Ho, Barbeque, Dusty, Flash, and Scarlett are MUST DO’s! A Cobra BAT would be ridiculous! Great Job on the Line, I will continue to purchase every….single….one!!!!!

  52. gumby says:

Hey SS. It’s been almost 24 hours since your last SW announcement and SW fans are already complaining [and rightfully so!] you aren’t doing enough for them. Please make this last announcement SW-related. It won’t stop the whining, then again nothing ever will. ROTF

  53. gumby says:

You are exactly right Tom P. Most collectors of most licences simply don’t buy the item’s they don’t like. But not SW collectors, not only will they not buy it, they’ll still be ripping it apart 10 years from now.
As much as I’d love to get a LOTR LSB announcement today [since there's not a single pre-order in the forseeable future [not even a lousy sneek peak!]I’m predicting a Marvel announcement. More specifically, a CARNAGE Comiquette.

  54. Tango78 says:

It began with Mola Ram PF, now it has to end with TOD Indy PF.
    PLEEAASSEE!

  55. Rick says:

LAST DAY….LETS SEE SOME REMY LEBEAU!!!

  56. Rick says:

    LAST DAY….C”MON GAMBIT PREVIEW!!!

  57. furystorm says:

Nothing Alien yet! Last day, and I’m crossing my fingers for a tease of the Alien maquette. No one else is, but here I am hoping.

  58. Elliott says:

Final day, last preview, here’s hoping for the TOD Indy PF.

  59. trotski says:

Tom.P -Or did you mean exclusives for the bag ladies shopping cart?? thanks all the same but I’m no Connor Macleod (of the clan Macleod) as Ramirez once said…

    “Don’t lose your head!”

  60. davi blight says:

that conan piece is calling me..

  61. trotski says:

Exclusives? Hmm..? group therapy demands ‘inclusion’ to prevent feelings of ostracization and alienation etc etc., but if the lunatics are running the asylum throw in a Big Chief, a Taber and Nurse Ratsh*t with complimentary throat masseur.

Failing that The Invisible Man -in stealth mode (?)

  62. sideshowfreak aka The Monster says:

Here is to hoping that the 12th day of Sideshow brings all of us “Monster Kids” some Universal Monstery Goodness! (The Monster with his fingers crossed) :D

  63. Kay says:

For Ryan McCall: NO. they shouldn’t be doing EU. Stay with the canon film stuff. That Jabba diorama looks beautiful!!!

  64. Dave Mac says:

Conan is looking SAAAA-WEET!!! Love the original R.E Howard tales of sword and sorcery and loving the SS take on this iconic character. He looks more like I imagine him than the stylised comic book character. This line could be massive!

  65. Johnny says:

Same here RAF007, PLZZZZZZZ BE MARVEL ON THE 4TH!!

  66. The One says:

Ha! What did I tell you guys! Knew there would be another SW piece! And, on top of it all, on the day when LOTR fans thought they would get another item…BURN! I am 100% happy with all the SW preview items I’ve seen. Sideshow knows how to take care of their best customers. Awesome 12 days SS!

  67. RAF007 says:

12 days of nothing that I would buy…Hopefully Gambit on last day b/c I highly doubt it would be anything Transformers related…Congrats SW fans, these days have been kind to you!

  68. Ryan McCall says:

I love the Gandlaf PF, the Jabba diorama I will probably pass on though. I think that they should do some more figures from the Star Wars EU like the ssi-ruuk or the Yuuzhan Vong.

  69. Tom P. says:

gumby – I couldn’t have said it better! Lots of love for the SW fans during this event but, once the final pieces are unveiled, we can look forward to the flood of criticism and complaining about costume, facial features, pose, general accuracy, etc, etc. Now, I’m no stranger to “nit-picking”, but I just show my descent by NOT purchasing what I don’t like! Fortunately for me, I likey what I sees so far! UNfortunately, for my wallet….I likey what I sees so far! :-)

  70. Tom P. says:

trotski – LOL!…Great minds (or, warped ones!)think alike! The appendage-a-month installment plan would probably work out best for our polystone gal! Just wish I could think of a good “exclusive” item to request. Any suggestions?

  71. trotski says:

    I’ll tell you what’s more shocking…

“They, uh, was givin’ me ten thousand watts a day, you know, and I’m hot to trot…”

    Juicy fruit?

  72. vabor says:

If Jan 4th isn’t Kratos I might weep.

  73. DJ says:

Hmmmmmmmmm,, can’t decide what is more shocking,, the fact that 3 days of the 12 have been SW pieces, or that the SW ppl are STILL whining and complaining,, un-by-god-believable…………….

  74. sideshowfreak aka The Monster says:

Sideshow I must have that Princess Leia vs Jabba The Hut Dio in Faux Bronze! :D Bronzey Goodness!!!!!!!!!! :D

  75. Strummer says:

Mola Ram and GTG look great. I’ll be interested in seeing ow that Conan piece turns out. Normally not my thing, but something about it grabbed my attention…

    Crazy Horse, Chewbacca and Quint PF’s please…:}

  76. gumby says:

How fitting SS, on Tolkien’s birthday we get….another SW piece. Not only have you pretty well allowed SW to dominate this year’s event, you managed to give SW collectors 3 more statues to dissect and complain about for the next 10 months.

  77. Jason the great says:

To DJ: I know SS & DC are distant apart On making statue & maybe a fantasy….but it can happen. If it’s a license fee, just pay it. I have no problem paying more for the statue or buy out DC Direct completely. Also if other companies like kotobukya can make statues of DC characters, then I can’t see why sideshow can’t do otherwise.

  78. HansK says:

By the way I won’t say you haven’t done anything with games, but just not the right titles ;)

  79. HansK says:

Since the company has it’s roots in the horror genre, there’s a couple of characters that are missing. Well not only a couple of characters, but an entire medium actually; Games. I would love to see a premium statue Big Daddy of the Bioshock series for instance. There’s just so much yet untouched in games: an imp from doom, Gordon Freeman fighting a headcrab zombie or even an antlion or Alyx Vance doing the same. Not to mention Bethesda’s wonderfull elder scrolls series and Fallout 3. Just give it some thought and you’ll realize, that this is a medium with a neverending supply of fantastic creations. Congratulations on the new figures by the way and have a great 2010!

  80. SilentSurfer says:

Not a collector of the diorama format, but this is a definite buy. All things Slave Leia are guaranteed purchases.

  81. Vince says:

most of those new stuff are quite good, but none of it is a must buy for me, one more left, we’ll see, I’m not worried ’bout this I’m actually glad that I’ll be able to save a bit of money for upcoming pieces I know I’ll not able to resist(ringwraith, c3p0, ect)

  82. furystorm says:

Can we have a sneak of the Alien maquette rumored for later this year? Please!

  83. level.2 says:

Nice Jabba Dio, how about Luke Vs Boba Fett, or Obi Vs Ponda Baba (arm cut off scene).

  84. Mr. T says:

I don’t know, I’m a little disappointed with whats’ been shown so far. Here’s hoping that for the Jan. 4th unveil, they save the best for last and show a 12 inch Boba Fett, Royal Guard, or Commander Cody.

  85. Morten Jensen says:

Love the SW dios But pls the last one need to be the Stormtrooper PF ;)

  86. coup says:

still saving cash! well i might bite on the conan piece of a$$, butt … ;) have to see what surprise will come on day 12.

  87. oxward321 says:

    OMG!!! That Jabba/Leia diorama is S W E E T!!!!!!

  88. Jason the great says:

Wow…11 days of nothing to buy for 2010! Thanks SS for saving me money this year. Wonder if Gambit is the 12th day preview, because if it’s not, there is always 2011. Maybe then there will be an announcement that SS will be doing DC statues. :D

  89. chris says:

Well what a surprise…anouther SW dio, inevitable realy but there is still tomorrow…

Can only hope you guys at SS have saved the best for last, show us that Marvel PF!

  90. trotski says:

Tom P. At least the old girl has something in her shopping cart huh? Even if it is just the head.

-Maybe she’s paying off in instalments??

  91. The king says:

    We want MARVEL… we want MARVEL…. we want MARVEL… MARVEL…. MARVEL……..!!!!!!!

  92. ETi says:

Hey Gumby..about reconsidering to collect PFs…I know what you mean..but i really can’t now..its getting too much, i started with the SideshowWeta 1/6 statues and busts only, then bought an enviorment so i had to continue, then i got a medallion now i have 11, then out came the Legendary Scale and the dioramas i don’t have all of them but altogether my collection is over 80pieces and i don’t have the collection room ready yet in my house…so sadly i have to let the PFs pass..

  93. Tom P. says:

I haven’t whined yet about Sideshow neglecting to create anything I might like and, quite frankly, I feel sort of left out so, here is my whiney request: So there’s this shopping cart lady in my neighborhood, right, and so I just think Sideshow should make a diorama or premium format figure of her because she is like just really awesomely gross and stuff and she could have, like bugs in her hair and missing teeth and really dirty clothes and maybe a beat up old doll with a missing head that she talks to or, maybe she just has the dolls head and……. ;-)

  94. Chris says:

10 days and still nothing of interest for me here. Conan??…seriously?….whats next power rangers.

  95. Tom P. says:

LOVE that Conan piece!! Sexy, provocative. I’m really glad to see Sideshow take things up a notch with the adult collector in mind. This kind of work truly is art, and not just another attempt at an actor’s likeness, created from over-used film stock poses! First, we get the beautiful Diablo III. Next, this wonderful interpretation of classic Conan! I can’t wait to display these together! I think I’m going to need an intire wall devoted just to the Barbarians! Keep rockin our world, Sideshow!

  96. DJ says:

    To: “its420brother”;
If you pay attention to the video,, the Excl for Gandalf is a switch-out head, one with his hat on and one without. Plus, Tom clearly said they didnt want this to be the “Shire version” of GTG, so the pipe as part of the piece does not apply at all.

    To: “Jason the great”;
The idea of DC characters from Sideshow has long been a fantasy of collectors everywhere, but it will remain just that; a fantasy. They already said the license is virtually impossible for them to get,,to put it another way, you have a better chance of finding Jimmy Hoffa’s resting place than seeing a DC piece from Sideshow.

  97. Mike says:

Definitely looking forward to picking up a couple of these pieces. Now Sideshow, pleaaaase give us Underworld!!

Also agree with Lou Man, a Bill the Butcher PF would be great!

  98. DJ says:

I’m sorry,, but am I the only one that looks at that dio and just sees one big nice BUTT? LOL!

  99. Kay says:

I must still repeat my point. Amazing that these sculptors seem to really focus on a good pose that captures the essence of a character for these statues, yet they couldn’t get one pose that was used with Luke Skywalker as a Jedi Knight. Seriously guys… did you all sit around a table and decide that the non-iconic, non-existent pose was the best option holding a pistol with no cloak option?

  100. daniel bowyer says:

I must have the Conan diorama.

  101. oxward321 says:

I’m still hoping for a Qui-Gon Jinn Premium Format! Or, the Attack of the Clones Anakin vs. Tusken Raider’s diorama!

    Please oh please oh please!!!!

  102. trotski says:

Indy Doom, oh yes!I wonder which carnation they are offering up? the Club OB1 would be the absolute nuts! I’d consider exchanging a few gold coins, or a diamond for that kiddy.

  103. Shad says:

Aurra Sing… strange choice, that and Talon both. I would take them in 12″ but not PF. Gandalf looks great… hope it lights up at the staff crystal! Conan and disney items were cool. I hope we get a Chewbacca in either 12″ or PF for one of the final two… or some other armoured imperials in either format.

  104. Bilbo says:

Thanks a Lot SS for Gandalf the Grey PF !!
And now show us another LOTR Announcement on Tolkien´s Birthday with another awesome Piece :-)

Ringwraith, Arwen or Gimli PF would be great !

  105. sotiris says:

    where is gambit???please ss!!please!!!!

  106. Tango78 says:

How about a little sneak peak preview of Temple Of Doom Indy PF please!! We need him next after Mola Ram. They would look so freekin’ awesome next to each other

  107. trotski says:

No Randall P. McMurphy (Cuckoos Nest) or Gabriel the wing-ed (The Prophecy)
    then **ahem**

  108. try try try says:

It’ nice to see the Conan piece offer some variety and I think everything would be nicely punctuated by a Universal Monster offering.

  109. Aidy says:

Gandalf looks great but I hope those clothes are just a mock up and not the final product. It is Gandalf the “GREY” (“GRAY” ;) ) after all.

1 more STAR WARS announcement and I’ll be happy. Broke, but very happy. :D

  110. Ron says:

Conan looks badass! Even unpainted this is the best looking Conan statue I’ve ever seen.

  111. trotski says:

For those of you who opt for electro convulsive therapy that lets the ladies light up like a pinball machine and pay off in silver dollars how about about a Randall Patrick McMurphy PF?

    -or Gabriel the wing-ed PF

“I’m an angel. I kill firstborns while their mamas watch. I turn cities into salt. I even, when I feel like it, rip the souls from little girls, and from now till kingdom come, the only thing you can count on in your existence is never understanding why.”

  112. des says:

    Two chances left..

Please show us a Marvel PF thats going to blow us all away!!!

  113. malice is waiting for s sneak peek at the ringwraith PF! says:

p.s i’m guessing with two days open the marvel fans are a shoe in on another piece.

  114. malice is waiting for s sneak peek at the ringwraith PF! says:

that conan piece looks awsome, kind of has that Frazetta look.( love his work but it’s just to damn expensive) can’t wait to see the final piece.

Two more days and still a no show on my beloved “ringwraith PF”. sideshow just email me a sneek forget about everyone else. :)

  115. Mr. Green says:

OMFG!! OMFG!!! Conan is like my third favorite characters; Hulk is still my favorite of course. SS totally surprise me with this. This Conan is no undeveloped retro version. It’s a gift to those true Conan comic fans. When fully done, I wonder how this diorama is compared to my Diablo 3 Overthrown Exclusive. I got a weak heart for the savages.

  116. oxward321 says:

I’m a HUGE fan of the LOTR BOOKS! They’re my FAVORITE books! I LOVE the film version of FOTR. Unfortunately, I found TTT & ROTK film adaptations to be…disappointing, Jackson took WAY to many liberties with a story that was already perfect!

I don’t collect LOTR collectibles based on the films. But, that might change with this Gandalf the Grey PF, my favorite character and a beautiful rendition of him! Well done Sideshow!

P.S. I LOVE that fact that your the ONLY high end company that is giving the Star Wars PT the LOVE it deserves! Keep’em coming! I’m looking forward to MORE PF & dioramas based on Episodes I, II & III! Your THE BEST! Thanks!!!!!

  117. Bo says:

With the Conan dio, Sideshow has solidified itself as the pre-eminent sculpting house of female butts. Good god, men! It makes you want to take a bite out of it.

  118. gumby says:

Conan diorama now up. Hmmm, does this mean we could be in for another LOTR piece tomorrow, on Tolkien’s birthday?

  119. Chris says:

Yes indeed! my partner has just pointed out ive made a spelling error! sertaine=certain :)

  120. Chris says:

    Hey SS

I realise this is a longshot but have you maybe thought about re-releasing one or to of your previous PF’s/Dio’s for collectors who missed out…?

I personally would love to get my hands on your Captain America PF. The only place I can find them now are on ‘Ebay’ and the prices people are asking for these pieces are well out of reach, not just for me but im sure for the rest of us collectors aswell!

I appreciate they are limited to a sertaine number but I ask you SS is there nothing you could do for your fans who missed out….?

    Cheers Chris.

  121. gumby says:

To malice : I can fully understand your preference of baddies, they more closely match your personality. And thanks for the week off, these high heels are killing me.

To mikki : I hope you are wrong about that. Since we already know about the 1:1 Hulk, HT Terminator, and Allosaurus dio’s they would hardly qualify as a surprise at this point.

To Sideshow : You have once again “hit one out of the park” with your stunning GTG PF. As DaveMac has so eloquently put it, “I am happier than a tornado in a trailer park!”

  122. zimbo says:

SideShow I really REALLY hope one of the last three spots are going to be news on OPTIMUS PRIME or some other transformers news PLEASEEEEEE… :)

  123. trotski says:

…would a Bill the Butcher come with throwing knives and shillelagh? Doubt he’ll pulling any ‘wabbits’ out that hat of his though (?)

    - As for an upgrade may I suggest for 2010 gig of RAM!

  124. Darth Trooper says:

STORMTROOPER PREMIUM FORMAT PREVIEW!!!! PLEASE SIDESHOW

  125. Jason the great says:

How about an announcement that they will start doing some DC statues. Wouldn’t it be great if Batman, Wonder Woman, Superman etc was in Comiquette or PF. We have too much Lotr, Marvel & Indiana Jones stuff already. Please Sideshow make this happen within the next year or so? That will he a great New Year announcement for me. :)

  126. Hoping for More says:

Like lots of folks I’ve been waiting on the LOTR announcement. While I like the GTG and will probably get him. I feel it’s odd with all the characters that everyone has been requesting that Sideshow would start repeating??? Hopefully this means a true fellowship collection will be released soon.

  127. DD says:

Gandalf looks amazing! Great facial sculpt, wonderful pose, and a fantastic looking base! Thank you SS! :) A great start to 2010 for LOTR fans.

  128. splinteredmasters says:

Finally a Bullseye! But I dunno about the face… something about his squint makes him look more like Popeye than Bullseye.

  129. Lou Man says:

Thanks Sideshow for the preview, how about Gangs of New York’s Bill the Butcher PF…That would be sweet. Happy 2010!

  130. puay says:

Last 3 chances for a Star Wars 12″….

  131. KCLasse says:

Fantastic news Sideshow….Hulk 1:1 bust then Mola Ram PF and now Gandalf the Grey PF…..A Terminator diorama would make me drop my jaw….fantastic Sideshow

  132. vabor says:

    WHERE IS KRATOS?!?

  133. tomandshell says:

    Keep the PFs coming!

  134. its420brother says:

I hope Gandalf comes with his pipe and pipeweed…maybe the ex version?

  135. malice is waiting for s sneak peek at the ringwraith PF! says:

congrats to my fellow ringers on the GTG he looks awsome but a pass for me. Bring on the baddies wiches! Saruman, cave troll, witchking in true form, king of the dead smeagol premium formats.

@ETI thanks buddy! and GUMBY take next week off you’ve earned it. :)

  136. Philippe says:

Another LOTR item… A bit more for Star Wars please SS ;-) Just teasing. Agreed with a comment that the mouth of Sauron with Frodo’s mithrill armor would be a neat item. Endless list of possibilities, limited wallet :-(

  137. mikki del rosario says:

ok, so gandalf pf now about closes the guessing game for this year’s 12 days of sideshow. coming previews for the last 3 days would be the dinosauria diiorama, hulk 1:1 bust, and the hot toys terminator…

thanks for the gandalf pf sideshow! him, the chernabog, maleficent, and tha dinosauria pieces will be mine! 4 out of twelve, i’m happy! :) happy new year!!!

  138. trotski says:

Ah the Mola Ram school of cardiology…

“you got heart kid…but that belongs to me.”

    “…it belongs to Coronado!”

    (right dialogue, wrong film)

  139. Chris says:

Holy f’n shat!!!! GTG PF!!!! Thank you SS. Thank you, thank you, thank you. Best Christmas present this year!!!!!!!!

Please make sure the staff lights up!!!!

  140. Jose says:

Please let one of the last few spots are either a Stormtrooper PF or a Crow PF.

  141. Bill (Irish Guy) says:

Thanks Sideshow, thank you, thank you, thank you! Very happy with GTG PF new. The sculpt looks a bang on likeness IMO – great job. I want him so much. Put my name on one right now. Happy New Year SS and all fellow collectors out there.

  142. The Ringer says:

Thank you Sideshow so much for Gandalf the Grey!

  143. nyctoyman says:

Unfortunately I haven’t seen a single item I am going to buy. When are we going to see the new license announcement!? 12″ Firefly figures PLEASE!!!!!!

  144. paul white says:

gandalf looks great exc should be switch out hand with sword hope staff lights up likes star wars lightsabres all we need now is a 12″ lotr or the holy grail pf stormtrooper

  145. Roo says:

That would be kind of sad if the new year brought only stuff that I can’t afford to buy.

  146. RandoCommando says:

YAY, finally some love for LOTR fans! Looking forward to seeing Gambit, Optimus Prime, Neytiri, or any Marvel PFs!

  147. gumby says:

Etienne, you really should reconsider. I was not sold on PF’s in the beginning, but SS has done such a great job of producing LOTR characters that actually look like the actors they are portraying [Aragorn, Legolas, and now Gandalf the Grey]. Quite frankly the likeness of these pieces blows the Weta stuff right out of the water.

  148. gumby says:

Oh, and I agree with Thehellspawn0666 too. I’d love to see another Predator PF, perhaps a little P2 love?

  149. ETi says:

Gandalf the Grey PF looks great its a shame i’m not collecting PFs but anyway..Hoping for a new Dio or Legendary scale bust…

  150. gumby says:

I was thinking the same thing Ween. Either a Saruman [with palantir] or Mouth of Sauron [with mithril shirt] LSB? I don’t want to get too greedy though. Between GTG, Mola Ram, and the Allosaurus dio. previews I’m a pretty happy camper at the moment.

  151. The Ween says:

Gandalf will be mine! Hopefully the 3rd will bring more LotR love!

  152. Chris says:

I see SS have gave LOTR fans a verry happy new year, there is still time for a Xmen PF to make Marvel fans jump for joy to…

Happy new year to SS & all you collectors out there, even the LOTR gang ;) Lets hope its a good one!

  153. Thehellspawn0666 says:

Hooray Gandalf PF. Now the LOTR peeps can hush-up. lol I kid, I kid. Glad to see you guys got some love too! Bring on the Predator stuff prefferably PF line. Oh yes and a Force Unleashed Starkiller PF in his Hoth gear would be SUH WEET!

  154. DJ says:

WOOOHOOO finally The Grey Pilgrim!! Thank You Sideshow! Even tho we already knew GTG was being released,, it is truly satisfying to see what the whole piece will look like. It is very clear the Excl. is a switch-out head, one hatless,, but I have said it before and I will say it again- to truly do GTG justice,, the staff crystal MUST light-up! ;)

  155. gumby says:

Gandalf the Grey PF! Now that’s more like it!!

  156. SDJ says:

Alright Sideshow! That’s more like it. Gandalf in the mines of Moria. Can Boromir and Gimli PF’s be far behind? I hope not.

  157. RAF007 says:

Now that LOTR’s is out of the way…Gambit or some type of Transformers teaser…Happy New Year!

  158. gumby says:

Thanks Malice! [aka Miguella, aka the poly pimp] If me walking the streets puts poly in your crib I’m happy to oblige.

  159. ETi says:

To all you collectors out there but most of all Gumby and Malice hope you have a fantastic New Year hope 2010 is a fantastic year…Happy New Year Sideshow!

  160. redalert says:

Just a guess:two of the remaining spots will be for the jack sparrow PF and a new Gijoe product(a PF maybe?)Anyway Happy New Year to all of you people out there

  161. Aidy says:

Ok, I was pleased to see the Star Wars Dio but Aura Sing has just become my second most wanted Sideshow piece behind the PF Talon.
As said below carry on with the hotness! Ventress, Leia, Talon and now Aura Sing thats just awesome….. and I wasn’t going to buy any more PF’s!!!!
Can’t keep up with the 12″ line and the dio’s never mind these slick PF’s that just get better and better!

  162. Pegase says:

Hi Sideshow! Please I want more Premium Format of AVATAR!!! This movie is a masterpiece!
Please Jack Sully with war paintings PF, and Neytiri PF would be wonderful!!

  163. habfanmike says:

I agree with Darth Impulse and anyone else who can take a step back and wait. Enjoy the videos. As much as I’d like to see another Universal Monsters offering, I’m already on board for the SSE Creature Bust and probably the Chernabog, depending on the price. Its probably best if I don’t see anything else I want and just enjoy viewing the pieces as they are listed. I don’t collect Star Wars but the pieces previewed are quite compelling and I can certainly appreciate people wanting to collect them.

  164. Tom P. says:

So far, my vote for the most exciting new license announcement came before the “12 Days Of Christmas” promo – the AVATAR Premium Format announcement! Can’t wait to see the completed figure of that beautiful, blue Na’vi, Neytiri! Thanks to her, I have an incurable case of Pandora jungle fever! ;-) God bless you, James Cameron!

  165. Bruises says:

@ gumby – i think felix was trying to write whinge rather than whine.

  166. malice is about to go postal if we don’t get a sneek soon! says:

Ladies and gent.’s first off i would like to wish you a blessed and prosperous new year. May the polystone gods(sideshow)bless us with LOTR(sarumanPF), marvel(carnage maquette) and Star Wars(lando PF) goodness.

To “La Gumby” thanks for being my top earner this year, you put in mad work on them street. you go girl! :)

  167. Mr. Green says:

What? No more bickering, grumbling, or drama? You guys are just drunken old men now? Bring on the baby New Year! Joking!!
I am glade SS are producing some various products. Besides the nasty paint job on Iron Man bust I’ve been reading, quality is up there too. Diversity is the spice of life. It will also give me more time to build up my cash reserve for those item that I will actually buy.

  168. daniel bowyer says:

yoda vs darth sidious is the only jem I see here so far. I’m defiantly going to buy this diorama. I’ve been waiting for this dio for a long time.

  169. cannonlocke says:

I want the next AH comiquette announcement. Come on SS, Mystique is out and we haven’t seen a glimpse on who’s next on the line.

  170. coup says:

so far for these sneaks all i can say is that i will finally be able to save some money! nothing is grabbing at my “purse strings” thus far … so to speak ….

  171. andre says:

Time to give credit where credit is due, Maleficent’s gonna be awesome!

  172. Polo says:

I totally feel that Mola Ram will sell out ASAP. Awesome statue, thus far! And Jason looks “killer!”

  173. gumby says:

SDJ, you are right on the money. Taking shots while waiting for announcements is an entertaining way to pass the time.
And felix, I beg to differ. There is nothing more pathetic or embarrassing than your attempt to spell whine [sorry but "winge" just doesn't cut it LOL]

To mikki, Miguella, DaveMac, Etienne, SDJ and all the LOTR collectors out there, I wish you all a Happy New Year. And to the rest, hopefully 2010 will be the year you all come to your senses and embrace the only licence that really matters.

  174. DJ says:

Well, if Sideshow will be so bold as to make an LOTR announcement actually ON Tolkiens birthday,, then it had better be a PF and it better be freakin awesome!

  175. Wyatt Armstrong says:

So far I’m not really into anything posted. I hope we can get an awesome Gambit statue!

  176. gumby says:

BTW, to all LOTR fans out there expect a long awaited sneak peek on Jan. 3rd. That is J. R. R. Tolkien’s birthday!!

  177. the collectonator says:

sorry, forgot to check for spelling errors – entity, voorhees

  178. the collectonator says:

Well, I don’t know about you guys, but If I were in a fight with an evil enity from lotr or a star wars baddie, I would like to have jason vorhees watching my back.

  179. mikki del rosario says:

maleficent pf made me smile! a happy new year it is! so now, four days left, one day for the dinosauria diorama, one day for marvel hulk 1:1 bust, one day for terminator (my guess is this would be a pf of ah-nuhld carrying the coffin…just a guess), and the last day would be…HOPEFULLY… for a LOTR announcement. my likes, the disney stuff, dinosauria, and of course, LOTR (which by the way, would be giving me my legolas PF this coming week) so 4 pieces out of twelve…good enough…

hey gumby, malice, davemac, and the rest of the collectors here, even you big DUH, happy new year!!! :)

  180. Mr.E says:

    Please Kratos maquette!

  181. trotski says:

Quote; ‘I don’t know, perhaps SS got LOTR collectors confused with Star Wars fanboys. They definitely collect dolls, not to mention SW lunchboxes, Lego, and pretty well every other trinket ever invented with the George Lucas name on it.
I hope this answers your question.’

“You call him ‘Doctor’ Jones! DOLL!!”

    …sorry, I couldn’t resist.

  182. SDJ says:

Do you want to know why we all take shots at each other when these opportunities arise? Because it’s fun! We all have our favorite lines and we each wish for certain collectables to be made and it’s realistically impossible to make everyone happy so we take shots at the other collectors to pass the time while we wait for SS to grant our wishes. I personally get a lot of laughs out of these forums and take them in the spirit that most of them are written in. That being said, LOTR RULES!!!!

  183. Rich says:

Y’all need to get out more.

  184. Darth Impulsive says:

Why is everyone so grumpy and complaining so much? If there isn’t something from a license you want this time, it just gives you time to save up for the next. You know Sideshow will eventually put something out that will wow you. As for me, I have the difficult task of picking between several items I want, as I can’t afford all of them. At the moment I’m considering selling a kidney for the Aurra Sing PF. And I’m still patiently waiting for the Doctor Who license announcement…

    HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ALL!!!

  185. chaeldub says:

That Jason Voorhees looks freakin awesome – That will most certainly be going on my shelf all things willing.

  186. DaveMac says:

Ahhh. The season of good will to all!

Lots of liscenses being catered for and I am sure the LOTR contingent will get some goodies too. I just hope Santa doesn’t reach right to the bottom of his sack and come up with fluff!! My Fellowship needs completing in PF form. Bring on Gimli and some Hobbits please.

  187. felix says:

Guys, you realy need to here you lot winge. Im no Marvel fan, Im into Terminator,Predator,Aliens. Hearing so much crying done for the ‘LOTR’ is embarassing & pathetic. Why do SS keep making Marvel/SW in favour of LOTR.. because Marvel & SW must be more interesting & fun to work on for the SS guys not to mention more popular & profit worthy. Not one Ter/Pred or Aliens piece has been hinted at yet & I havent broken down into tears. So please ‘gumpy’ & the rest of you LOTR lot man up & bore off!

  188. Peter says:

I’m disappointed that Sideshow censored opinions which sound “too hard” for them or give them disadvantage. I’ve read answers to my earlier writing and I further say that Sideshow doesn’t dare to sculpt CHEWBACCA PF because this level seams to be too high…it’s a pity! The other thing is: Sideshow lives from us fans and collectors we spend the money thus there is economic crisis in the world SO THEY HAVE THE OBLIGATION TO REACT ON THE WISHES OF THEIR FANS/COLLECTORS/PAYERS!!! THEY LIVE FROM US!

  189. The One says:

Oh, I’m not worried DJ. Even if there isn’t another SW announcement, I’m happy with what I’ve seen. Still, SS knows how to take care of their best customers (Marvel/SW) and SW fans will get another announcement on the next row. “It’s unavoidable.” ;)

  190. gumby says:

    “cjflan32 says:
Hey Gumby if LOTR is such a money maker how come they never finished the 1/6 Fellowship?”

Thats a very good question cjflan32, I’m glad you asked that.

I believe it has to do with simple economics. Sideshow started making them, and people weren’t buying them. They were spending money producing dolls, not realizing that LOTR collectors, being a more sophisticated brand of collector, don’t collect dolls. We collect statues, busts and dio’s, period.

I don’t know, perhaps SS got LOTR collectors confused with Star Wars fanboys. They definitely collect dolls, not to mention SW lunchboxes, Lego, and pretty well every other trinket ever invented with the George Lucas name on it.

I hope this answers your question.

  191. gumby says:

You’re right Mikki, the guy is completely clueless. Why he would want the rest of us to know just how clueless he really is, is beyond me??
Good point Etienne! I don’t know how old Big D is, but he’s got the grammar of a 6 year old. And a Happy New Year to you as well!!

Now please SS, give your loyal LOTR fans something to cheer about. I don’t care if it’s the Ringwraith PF or the GTG PF, either one will do very nicely.

  192. UGOTROB says:

You guys in this post make me laugh!(lol) Thanks for “CREATING” sideshow. I have stuff I’d like to see too, but I’m not Bee-outching, about it. Happy New Year.

  193. oxward321 says:

Can’t wait to see the finished Aurra Sing Premium Format! Wasn’t The Phantom Menace piece I was hoping for, but at least it’s something from TPM!

  194. trotski says:

Imagine if Shorty had played Mola Ram at poker instead in TOD…would he have been so defensive about the temple priest holding a heart up his sleeve??

    “you cheat Dr. Jones…”

  195. DJ says:

Oh darn- looks like NLH stepped in and took out a piece of the Star Wars/Marvel Dynasty,,, oh well, not to despair,, 5 more days left…..

  196. DJ says:

Hey- “The One”; I think you are right. With 6 more days left thats at least 3 more potential pieces for both Star Wars and Marvel…wouldn’t want to miss out on any would-be profit on the 2 best licenses now would we????

  197. Bilbo says:

Go Get some LotR PF´s please !:-)
i´m tired of waiting for Gandalf the Grey or Arwen PF Statue to be released. no more SW please :P

  198. The One says:

I sense something…another Star Wars preview before the 4th…

  199. mikki del rosario says:

i’m with you on there gumby! this guy doesn’t completely understand what he’s saying… may be his D stands for “DUH?!” hahaha! oh well… still waiting for some LOTR announcements…based on the last newsletter, two more spots will be given to the dinosauria allosaurus vs camarasaurus diorama and the 1:1 hulk bust by andy b. so the remaining 3 days would be just fine for 3 LOTR announcements…i wish! ;P

  200. ETi says:

Gumby don’t even bother with these guys , they have no idea what they are saying…They’r like 6year old girls crying cause santa didn’t get them what they really wanted for christmas…Grow up and be sure when you say something you know its right!
PS Happy New year Gumby and to all the collectors out there..

  201. Will says:

Come on! Firefly/Serenity, Dr. Horrible, Blade Runner, Fifth Element, Venture Bros… there’s so many properties out there with large fan bases, larger than the comic book characters probably.

  202. cjflan32 says:

Hey Gumby if LOTR is such a money maker how come they never finished the 1/6 Fellowship?

  203. gumby says:

Hey Big D, thanks for sharing your insight and wisdom with us. I didn’t realize until now that LOTR [the most successful licence SS has ever owned, the licence that literally put SS on the map as a high-end collectible company, and the licence recognized as the foundation for every other SS licence including Marvel and Star Wars] was so boring. Nor did I realize until now that LOTR “aint making SS no money” [nice grammar BTW lol]. And of course the fact that every LOTR PF, and almost every Dio. and LSB are completely sold out really hammers home that point. ROTF
Would you be so good as to point out all the other boring SS licences in an effort to save all of us from making the mistake of spending our hard earned money on licences you deem boring?
And while you’re at it please share with us what the “D” in Big D stands for. I could only think of 3 possible choices myself, delusional, dummy, and doofus.

  204. DD says:

5 days left for the Gandalf the Grey PF ;)

  205. Shai (winner in life) says:

    Fact:

Sideshows most profitable license = Marvel

Lucas and SW fans bow down to the Marvel and Disney Empire. We Win.

  206. Chris says:

Wow 7 days worth of stuff and nothing I’ve found of interest yet. I thought SS was going to be releasing some new licenses. Its always the same stuff from the same lines. Indy, star wars, terminator, aliens, predator, legend??? Come on SS, these movies were made over 20 years ago. Their have been MANY other iconic movies made since then. For example watchmen, dark knight, apoalypto, the incredible hulk, 007, transformers, pitch black, mission impossible, cloverfeild…and one I really want to see…indipendence day. Please just do somthing new!

  207. The Ween says:

Big D…..you have no clue. lol

  208. andre says:

Wow, after Aurra, I thought for sure you guys were gonna follow her up with PFs of the Twi’lek twins that massaged Sebulba’s feet in ‘Phantom Menace’. Oh well, maybe tomorrow.

  209. Matt says:

To JS, good call on the Marion Ravenwood 1/6 figure. I know we’ve already had an Indy sneak peak, but with the Indy line said to be “on pause”, this would be a welcome surprise and an instant purchase on pre-order!

  210. Joaquin G says:

Ok its my turn to make a comment. I love marvel and many other products that ss makes including Star Wars,TMNT,AVP, and even Street Fighter from POP Culture. Now I understand why some people have complaints not everyone buys every statue around, they buy only what they want which can make some people crazy because they only want certain statues, makes sense. I on the other hand love almost everything SS makes and spend way too much over, 5 grand a year, so I actually want SS to slow down a bit and focus on other licences because my bank account cries everytime they come out with another Marvel statue. All I can say is lets just calm down and simply enjoy everything SS does, I have been collecting for years and once I found out about SS I thanked the GODS that finally a company has passion in what they create and sure its for profit but it just means much more to them to make something that truly is a work of Art!!

  211. Mr. Green says:

Oh O…Jason Vorhees. I can anticipates the flood of complaints coming, LOL. SS, please make the Kirby Hulk 1:1 bust affordable; don’t make me sell my blood for this one.

  212. Big D says:

Guys the reason Marvel & Star Wars keeps coming & coming is because LOTR etc is frankly boring and quite clearly aint making SS no money!

  213. Darth Evil says:

GREAT JOB SIDESHOW WITH AURRA SING!!! PLEASE LET ME SEE YOUR PREVIEW STORMTROOPER PREMIUM FORMAT!! THANKS!!!

  214. Mr. Green says:

Hehehe….so much heat posted on this posting and there’s still 5/6 days to go still. Demand for LOTR, Star Wars, Marvel, Buffy, etc, is just as valid. Frankly, I am still enjoying Planet Hulk vs Silver Surfer Exclusive, StreetFighter Cammy PF, and Diablo 3 Overthrown. I would love to get that Kirby Hulk 1:1 bust but doubts I can afford it. Does being broke makes me less of a fan? If SS produce anymore than what they’re planning, my heart would melt. Everyone knows they makes the most quality products.

  215. JS in Rochester says:

It sure has been fun with this 12 Days thing. I little something fun to look forward to during the day in the post-Christmas blahs!
(We are actually moving this week and I am keeping the computer hooked up till the very last moment to see if I can catch today’s reveal!)
    Fun Fun Fun!
(I hope they show us something cool in 1/6 like a Star Wars Hammerhead or Marion Ravenwood or something. Or maybe Merry and Pippin after all?)

  216. RAF007 says:

    Transformers Please!!!

  217. Richard says:

GAMBIT GAMBIT GAMBIT!!! LOL really though I can’t wait

  218. sidejob says:

    I want MARVEL.
    I want LOTR.
    I want STARWARS. Blah,Blah,BLAH!
    Close your noise holes already.
If you don’t get what you want, just pretend it’s like that hot girlfriend you always wanted, never got that either and things seemed to have turned out just fine, now you have lots of time to spend complaining about the toys you don’t get from SSC.
On the record, MARVEL is the best line but LOTR fans are WAY-OVER-DUE thier PF Ringwraith and starwars it seems is on every newsletter with some kind of pre-order, so whatever to that stuff.
P.S. Thanks goes out to all of our troops overseas and also to the good people(police and firefighters) that brave the call here on our home soil everyday.
HAPPY NEW YEAR! also I was just kidding about the girlfriend thing, I’m sure you all have smokin hot PF’s you snuggle up with.

  219. Gordon says:

Thanos, Gambit, Colossus, Cyclops.. ok broke. Marvel is really packed as what gumby stated. Any other bad guys from Star Wars with more dynamic sculpture? Such as those from Star Wars Unleashed series from Hasbro? =) Wonder if Sideshow will even get DC license.

  220. gumby says:

To “chris”. I’m not crying about anything. I collect from several licences [including Marvel!] and of the 6 items shown to date I will be purchasing 2 of them. My point, which seems to have completely escaped you, is Marvel fans have absolutely NOTHING to complain about. Zero. zip, nada. As of the 8th of Jan. you will have gotten 8 new pre-orders since SDCC. Now I am fully aware Marvel is the #1 SS licence, but instead of you guys whining/crying like a bunch of spoiled rotten brats that SS isn’t doing enough for you, perhaps you could show a little more appreciation for just how fortunate you are. Not to mention some empathy for collectors of licences that aren’t quite so fortunate. I hate to say it but you guys are are taking “selfish” to a whole new level these days, and it’s pretty sad/pathetic to watch. And no, I have never served in the military [though I have a tremendous amt. of respect for those who have]but I have served my community the past 2 1/2 decades as a professional firefigher, so lets not get into a whose tougher/braver arguement OK? Fact is, your military service has nothing to do with the me, me, me attitute of too many Marvel fans these days.

  221. JC says:

Iron Man Mark III suit movie version with alternate head in 1/4 scale please…….You’ve already done the 1/2 scale….why not give us something we can not only afford but also have enough room to display it in.

  222. radicalmichael says:

How do you think Sideshow makes most of their money? Its through making Marvel and Star Wars pieces, that is what the average collector wants.

  223. CollectorFan says:

So many complainers. First of all. Just like any artist, movie maker, sculpter…it’s not just about YOU and the bottom line. They need to do things and create things that they love. Whether everything they do is a success with the consumer is another thing. But they need to do those passionate or interesting projects that excite and motivate them, or things they think are cool to work on. So if you don’t like it, don’t buy it and stop collecting their stuff then.

  224. Peter says:

Nice figures but not the point: fans wish CHEWBACCA PF years ago! More and more I’ll get sure that Sideshow doesn’t dare to build this No.1 Star Wars figure because it’s to difficult for them…CHEWBACCA could be the masterpiece to overtake all other builders but I think Sideshow is too weak

  225. Tango78 says:

    Indy diorama preview please!

  226. Michael says:

I love how these things turn into huge wars…anyhow, Sideshow is doing things with Star Wars that are interesting and different than what we normally get…if I wanted another Luke, Stormtrooper, Obi-Wan,I’d buy Hasbro…Aurra looks great and is makes sense with her Clone Wars tie-in…and hate to burst anyone’s bubble, but like it or not Star Wars is the most profitable franchise, merchandising-wise, of all time

  227. Jamie says:

Aura looks amazing… And while I would love to have a Premium Format Stormtrooper, I would rather you take you time and make it “perfect” than hurry it along just to get it out. And any Star Wars love in the Premium Format arena is OK in my book… And to those who wonder why all the Star Wars “favoritism”? Hey, somethings gotta pay the bills…. hahahaha….

  228. Chris says:

Not saying this won’t be a good looking PF, but I’m not dropping $300 on a PF of a character that has 2 seconds of screen time when we don’t have the droids, Emperor, Lando, Chewie, etc.

When was the last LOTR PF release? Can’t even remember when I ordered Legolas.

  229. mikki del rosario says:

another star wars piece?! i just hope there would be AT LEAST TWO announcements for future LOTR pieces within the remaining 6 days. and this is no longer a request! stop with the star wars already! as in STOP IT!!!

  230. TheHellspawn0666 says:

I do agree I think ALOT of attention needs to be paid to other licenses. I am personally a Predator fan and although we do have a sweet dio coming out soon I think I speak for all Pred fans out there that we would ALL LOVE a line of Predator Premium Formats!!! Just think abolut a predator, predator 2, all the preds from AVP, and the Wolf from AVPR as PF’s!!! Ill reserve one NOW thank you! Also Star Wars is all fine and good but lets see some Love for the Force Unleashed! Star Killer Premium Formats anyone? There are so many bad a$$ characters to be done that would sell out so quick but, we keep seeing these obscure characters being done. C’mon Sideshow I have room on my credit card!

  231. Tom P. says:

DJ – It’s all about the “Benjamins” my friend! I feel your pain, but just take a walk around the convention floor of the next Comic-Con if you have a chance to attend. You might be surprised that a big portion of the other exhibitors will be pushing Star Wars – i.e. Lego, Hasbro, Gentle Giant, Diamond Select, etc., etc. When you include the expanded universe, Star Wars probably – and this is just a guess – has at least as many, and most likely, a much larger fan base for it’s characters than any of the other licences such as DC or Marvel. Don’t misunderstand me, I’m also a Marvel and DC fan, but I’m just saying that Star Wars is most likely the “bread & butter” of Sideshow’s product line. If they did’t offer the big sellers, they couldn’t afford to bring the other licences / characters to the fans. Of course, it’s possible I don’t know what the heck I’m talking about and just blowing smoke up your chimney!

  232. The Ween says:

I can’t believe the SW fans are complaining. That is one cool PF.

  233. andre says:

Sideshow, why don’t you start asking us what WE want as opposed to you guys deciding for us, because clearly we aren’t seeing eye to eye here, at least where Star Wars is concerned.

  234. malice is waiting for s sneak peek at the ringwraith PF! says:

six days to go and i got my fingers crossed, sideshow i’ll stop spamming and bugging CS with my usual, ” so, how that rigwraith PF coming along? and pix yet?” questions. :)

    thanks

  235. DJ says:

I totally agree with gumby/bearmodel/SDJ/Dino…I’m sorry but what is with this HUGE focus on Star Wars? Its like 75% of the Sideshow operation is devoted to just Star Wars pieces,,continuous stream of PFs, dios, 12 inch… ENOUGH ALREADY! There are sooo many other licenses that need some serious attention and life breathed back into them,,, as bear model pointed out,, Terminator, the Dead, AVP, Legend, and how about some brand new Star Trek PFs that have needed to be done for YEARS like the rest of the Original Series or even TWOK, etc (not even going to bring up LOTR again). Star Wars and Marvel have had way too much attention, especially when it gets to the point of making PFs of meaningless characters,,,please stop the favortism now.

  236. paul white says:

sing looks like a great statue but why all the characters still to do why a bounty hunter who appears for about five seconds still no pf lotr life not fair

  237. Tom P. says:

Oh, Aurra!…I hate to see you go, but I just love to watch you leave! Someone has been doing Pilates!

  238. Ryan says:

Great job on capturing the correct pose on that statue for Aurra, yet epically failing at capturing a pose ANYWHERE in Return of the Jedi for Luke Skywalker Jedi Knight premium format, complete with Pistol option that he didn’t even hold without a cloak! Been waiting SOOO long for Jedi Luke and I just wish you guys would have paid more attention to how he was positioned for that piece. :( Pass for me on Aurra.

  239. Shai says:

SIDESHOW STOP MAKING SOME SW…CONCENTRATE ON THE MARVEL STUFF..YOU KNOW THIS IS WHERE THE MONEY IS !!!!

AND MAKE A WORLD WAR HULK PF !!!

  240. chris says:

To ‘gumby’ stop crying because you clearly aint seen enything you like, also dont steriotype marvel/comic fans I can ashure you we do not all fit into your ‘basement geek’ impression! Ive personally done 2 tours in Afghan & a third on the way, how many have you done…

  241. LOKI says:

By far the easiest SW PF pass in history. Would love to know the thinking behind one of the most irrelovent characters in the Star Wars Universe getting her own PF

  242. Darth Evil says:

AURA SING?? SECONDARY CHARACTER…PLEASE SIDESHOW WE WANT STORMTROOPER PREMIUM FORMAT , R2-D2 PREMIUM FORMAT, OBI WAN EP-3 PREMIUM FORMAT , QUI GON JINN PREMIUM FORMAT..

  243. Dino says:

Six days left…please show a teaser of the next LOTR PF, Sideshow! Also, you previously answered one of my “Ask Sideshow” questions and confirmed that Boromir was one of the characters slated to get the PF treatment…I have requested several times that Boromir be depicted in Gondorian armor as seen in the “Retaking of Osgiliath” from the extended Two Towers. Seeing your recent Vlad the Impaler PF, I have hope that a armored Boromir holding the flag of Gondor in one hand and his sword/the Horn of Gondor in hos otehr hand can be done!!!

  244. Darth Impulsive says:

Aurra Sing looks wicked!! You’re killing me Sideshow!! I’m going to have to get a second job to buy this one…

  245. seer says:

YES!!! Aurra Sing!!! Like what the surfer said: Geonosis Padme NEXT!!!

  246. SDJ says:

At least show us the Gandalf you teased a month or so back. Boromir PF would be mighty fine about now too. Show some love for the LOTR fans!

  247. its420brother says:

    Nice butt, Aurra!

  248. SilentSurfer says:

Aurra Sing?! Never thought I’d see the day. PF should just stand for Premium Female Line now. Keep the Star Wars hotness coming. Do Geonosis Padme next.

  249. Mate says:

100% agreed with Elliott!!! Predator maquette!

  250. John D. Iles says:

    Still waiting for anything dinosaur.

  251. James Eppolito says:

Happy Holidays all! OK…we’re halfway through and still no LOTR items…what’s up with that?? I’m jonesing for Tolkien stuff (LOL)

  252. bearmodel says:

More Star Wars :( ….Where’s LOTR PF, Meg Mucklebones PF, another Dead PF and T-1000?????

  253. SideShowLover says:

Can we please get a new adamn hughes designed comiquette.

  254. DJ says:

    LMAO @ andre!

  255. gumby says:

Why don’t some of you Marvel geeks give it a rest already. You sound like a bunch of whiny girls. Since Spook 09 you’ve gotten the HB Iron Man, white Elektra, and SS comiquettes. The Spider-Woman and BiB Spider-man LSB’s, the X-23 dio. and the Wolverine PF.
Plus you’ve got pre-orders for the Sabretooth PF and 1:1 Hulk in about a week.
Not to mention recent sneak peeks of Cyclops, Gambit, Colossus, Thanos, DD [have I missed anyone?], and now Bullseye.
Feel free to get you noses out of your comic books, move out of the basement bedroom in your parent’s house, and join the rest of us in the real world. Marvel fans = Epic Fail!!

  256. ETi says:

About LOTR Ringwraith PF can’t blame them complaining..Malice has been waiting for it for a very very long time…and to tell you the truth i wouldn’t mind to see how it comes out even though i’m not into PF…..What i would also like to see is the Watcher in Water in a dio! any way come on sideshow surprise us..

  257. Elliott says:

T-1000 PF and a predator maquette please!!!

  258. MaTelz says:

    Predalien Polystone Diorama Please.

  259. Tom P. says:

Never got into the “Buffy” stories or characters but, this piece looks very cool! Like the attitude in Buffy’s pose – this sweet, innocent looking young woman sitting in this very imposing and wicked chair, contemplating another vampire kill! The skulls really sell it!

  260. andre says:

Hey! You guys complaining about no new info on the LOTR Ringwraith, cut Sideshow some slack, will ya?! It’s a tricky portrait sculpt to nail!

  261. The Ween says:

It would be nice since you felt the need to revist Buffy, that you feel the same need and revist the 1/6 LotR line. :D

  262. chris says:

Were’s all the MARVEL comiquettes, Dioramas & PF’s….. has to be more than just Bullseye!

  263. nyctoyman says:

Bring on the 12″ “Firefly” figures! Starting with Mal!

  264. Philippe says:

CFrost is right but why not even get a step further. Do a Diorama with Anakyn slicing Windu hands under the smiling gaze of Sidious or Vader holding high the Emperor before the fall in the reactor with Luke lying low in pain or ObiWan looking down at a burned Anakyn along a light up lava stream. So many really dramatic moments to capture.

  265. SilentSurfer says:

Buffy’s back. Nice. Definitel fan here.

  266. Master Yoda says:

star wars stormtrooper premium format preview!!!

  267. CFrost says:

You created an awesome Qui-Gonn & Obi Wan vs Darth Maul Diorama from Episode 1. This is the first major Star Wars lightsaber duel in all 6 movies. The last major lightsaber duel is the fall of mighty Darth Vader vs his own son Jedi Luke Skywalker (with the Emperor sitting there seething with hate). The fans all know that this is a given and that SideShow will create it. You have to make this piece to show the fall of the ultimate villian Darth Vader. The question is when is it coming out?????? Please don’t wait until you decide to call the Star Wars Diorama line quits or until it is too late and you go out of business (like Palisades did ending the best GI Joe and Transformers line of polystone pieces ever made).

  268. CFrost says:

Great chioce on Yoda vs Darth Sidious Diorama but you have already made an excellent Yoda vs Dooku. Why not a Mace Windu vs Darth Sidious? Sam Jackson brings an entire new market of fans along with all of us Star Wars junkies . . . I know the Sideshow Marketing Team must acknowledge this.

I have each Star Wars Diarama that you have made but Star Wars fans are DYING for a Jedi Luke vs Darth Vader with the Emperor sitting in the his throne in the background.

  269. malice is waiting for s sneak peek at the ringwraith PF! says:

what miss gumby said is correct, now go make me a sam-mitch!

  270. terri says:

well what ever you talented people uncover i am positive it will all be museum quality pieces ONLY THE BEST

  271. paul white says:

all these people sideshow asking for pf lotr and star wars surley they carnt all be disaponited this christmas sideshow buff who on the 29th hope for the 30th

  272. Steve says:

Thanks sideshow, for giving me Buffy. I finally will be able to get something that is not sold out and over expensive in eBay.

  273. DJ says:

I agree- a fire needs to be lit under the Ringwraith PF project, that one needs to happen soon,, but we have already seen a sneak peek pic of the GTG PF in development, and that was back in October,, surely it should be ready for unveiling by now,, at least in unpainted form. C’mon Sideshow lets see GTG!

  274. Rich Arnott says:

More JAWS collectables please, Quint PF NOW !!!!!!

  275. Spartan26 says:

    Kratos comiquette sneak peak PLEASE!!!

  276. Mate says:

Wish there would be an upcoming Predator product feature one of these days! Hm? C’mon guys!!!

  277. gumby says:

I’m with Miguella [aka Malice], a glimpse of the much anticipated Ringwraith PF would be awesome!!

  278. sotiris says:

    gambit !!!please!!!!!

  279. Darth Evil says:

    Sideshow Stormtrooper Premium Format!!!

  280. SDJ says:

You know “Redalert”, I bet that just kept all the folks at Sideshow from enjoying thier holidays. The fact that you are going to keep your 30 cents mad money sewed into the same pants pocket where you put it 25 years ago.

  281. Rick says:

please let GAMBIT be one of the previews!!!!!!!

  282. DD says:

“pleas sideshow Willow movie, General Kael!!!!”

I too hope that SS will someday get into Willow.

    Sorsha PF! :)

  283. Ron says:

Bullseye is nice, but I’m waiting for cyclops, colossus or apocalypse.

  284. redalert says:

Well,i know this isn’t the right time or place to say that but as long as sideshow doesn’t confirm a license from DC i won’t buying anything from them(and i mean products from the original comics universe and not the crapy movie stuff)

  285. josh says:

pleas sideshow Willow movie, General Kael!!!!

  286. malice says:

come on sideshow give us a sneek at the Ringwraith PF!

  287. Gary T says:

My wife and I are looking forward to your new Avatar premium format figures. Jake and Neytiri are our favorites and we’d love to add them to all our sideshow collections.

  288. jumpman23 says:

When can we see a Mace Windu piece…how about a Mace Windu vs. Darth sidious w/ Anakin dio! or Mace vs. jango fett.

  289. The Ween says:

Marvel fans getting thier love, now we LotR fans need ours! :D

  290. nyctoyman says:

I hope this is it for PF’s or dioramas. We need some 12″ figures!

  291. The One says:

The two top dogs in dio form… we needed this. Thanks SS… this Yoda vs Sidious will be a must own!

  292. wolfie says:

When are we getting a Chewbacca premium format?

  293. gumby says:

A couple of nice sneak peeks so far, but with 4 down and 8 to go still nothing LOTR-related. With no PF’s [other than the GTG sneak peek on Oct 30th.]or LSB’s on the horizon how about finally giving LOTR fans something to cheer about. We’ve had exactly one new pre-order in the past year from all three of your LOTR lines combined!! If your looking to kill interest in LOTR keep doing what your doing, it’s working perfectly.

  294. paul white says:

can eneyone confirm is yoda vs emperor pf or 12″ thanks

  295. paul white says:

hi im with master yoda crying in my sleep for a pf stormtrooper and pf luke and han heads to go with it interchangable also lotr have dried up hope it not because your ending the line sideshow so many characters no done yet

  296. oxward321 says:

Yoda Vs. Sidious is a MUST HAVE!!!!! Can’t wait to see the finished piece!!!!! One of the BEST duels on the whole saga!!!!

  297. Tango78 says:

YES! Yoda Vs. Sidious, have been waiting for this one a long time
    Thanks Sideshow

  298. sideshowfreak aka The Monster says:

Sideshow, I MUST have that Yoda Vs. Sidious Dio in Faux-Bronze! Bronzey Goodness!!!!!!!!!! :D

Now show me some Silvery Goodness with your Universal Monsters lines! Here’s to hoping that 2010 marks the return of “King Karloff” at Sideshow Collectibles! :D

It is looking to be the best year at Sideshow Collectibles ever!!!!!!!!!! :D Good for Sideshow, Bad for my bank account. :D

  299. Master Yoda says:

GREAT JOBS SIDESHOW!!! PLEASE NOW STORMTROOPER PREMIUM FORMAT PREVIEW!!!

  300. MM says:

C’mon SS where’s our Ringwraith or GTG PF’s!

  301. John D. Iles says:

Yoda Vs. Sidious is a pass for me. I just could deal with the hoppy little swordsman and am happy with the OT Luke and Yoda figure. Mola Ram looks amazing.

  302. DD says:

Nine days left for LOTR …

  303. No Brainer says:

Blackhole Stormtrooper 1/6 scale. Don’t make me paint my own Sideshow!!!!

  304. Darksoul says:

At long last. Yoda vs Sidious. Ah… Sideshow, I hate you so…but, I love you so much more.

  305. Philippe says:

Sidious and Yoda. Finaly something about the Emperor. A light up would be fantastic and an Exclusive with 2 other heads for Emperor and Yoda would then be a done deal for an order from me.

  306. JC says:

SIDESHOW why not any of the following? God of War Kratos PF, NEO from the Matrix PF, Vin Diesel as Riddick PF, Jolie as Tomb Raider PF, The Rock as Scorpion King PF or Arnold as Dutch from the Predator PF. What’s the hold up on Dutch? You already did a 1/6 scale version, so there shouldn’t be a problem doing the 1/4 Scale PF.

  307. mike says:

hello ,hello mulder is that you
mulder, ya it’s me scully,i cant
hear you that good. I think i found something, I’ll talk to you later.—- mulder, mulder,——-

  308. Aidy says:

  319. DD says:

I wholeheartedly support DJ’s views. It’s been way too quiet this year for fans of the LOTR PF line. So let’s end 2009 in style and please give us that second LOTR PF announcement of 2009! :)

[Indy threatens to drop the Sankara stones into the gorge]
Indiana Jones: You want the stones, let ‘em go!
[the Thuggees stop, uncertain. Willie smirks at Mola Ram]
    Indiana Jones: Let ‘em go!
Mola Ram: [laughs] Drop them, Dr. Jones! They will be found! You won’t!

We may not find the stones, but Sideshow had the stones to make a killer Mola Ram statue. Bring on Mola Ram!!!

  331. The Ween says:

::waiting patiently for some LotR love::

  332. SilentSurfer says:

Yep, already feeling the credit card debt for 2010 adding up here. But it hurts so good.

  333. DJ says:

Thanks for a great year Sideshow, you guys have once again raised the bar in all collectible lineups, and I am looking forward to at least three pieces from 2009. My only one MAJOR disappointment was…as successful as the line is….only one LOTR PF announcement for the entire year. In 07 and 08 there were several so it really didnt make sense at all. There are tons of characters left in LOTR that need the PF treatment (especially after seeing what you did with Vlad), even misc ones, that would sell out for sure. For next year, we pretty much already know GTG will be announced, and then follow it up with a Nazgul (at least for malice’s sake. Even just those two for next year would be a good start.
Sideshow, I emplore you- please get this line back on track for 2010. Dioramas are great, but Premium Format is how the LOTR characters shine brightest and where the license is truly a success.
Merry Christmas and a safe Happy New Year to all at Sideshow and all my fellow collectors out there.

  334. nyctoyman says:

Another PF figure? I hope we get some 12″ figures soon. Firefly!!!!

  335. Michael Bracken says:

I am in awe, I have the first two Indiana Jones Premium Format, a diorama preordered and now the great Mola Ram, and a new Arnold T-800 on Jan 7 2010!!! Sideshow just give me a job so my paycheck can go directly to you. My Wallet has flies coming out and I’m going to need a new house to put all the stuff in.

  336. slothlovechunk19 says:

Two days out of 12 and already two purchases to be made. Next year is going to destroy the wallet and any hope my wife had of a vacation as the only traveling we’ll be doing is walking to the door to greet the UPS man.

  337. tonymills says:

If all the previews are as good as this we are in for a good year, Merry Christmas to my fellow collectors and all the staff at Sideshow, My one true wish for 2010 lets finaly see a PF Stormtrooper please.

  338. Tango78 says:
