fine stuff, that will complete the T2 collection.
I couldn’t agree with you more, SilentSurfer – Hot Toys has not only improved the quality of their work, they have been raising the bar for the intire industry for the past few years. I have many Hot Toys figures and will continue to add more when I can afford to do so. (Their Iron Man MK1 is phenomenal and, in my opinion, the “crown jewel” of their work – and my display case – to date!) I just find it odd that the company would make the decision – if this is what we are actually seeing – to go with the sculpted hair as a design decision. I have their Female U.S. Secret Service ERT member and, WOW…the detail is incredible and…. she has the rooted hair! The figure just wouldn’t be the same with a sculpted “doo”. Now, with all that said, I’m sure you can count me as one of those eager T2 fans waiting to click the pre-order button, regardless of Hot Toys hair choice! After all, If I’m going to have Arnie on my shelf. I’ve gotta have Linda, too!
I need to see more finalized pics, Hot Toys is always giving us a better head sculpt just before they release the figure (Marcus Wright, Blade). It looks good and I will most likely get it. I’m curious, is the hair rooted and the ponytail is plastic, that looks kinda strange.
Take this how you want, but this totally lives up to my expectations for the Hot Toys Sarah. People like to forget how far toys have come in this past decade and complain when it isn’t justified. This figure is amazing. This is going to look incredible next to the T-800. Can’t wait to see the T-1000.
I agree TomP, soft hair is much better than sculpted, it limits poseability and realism.
Hmm….Hot Toys used “punched” hair in their Silk Spectre/Malin figure, but chose to do a sculpted hair style on Sarah? I know, I know…nit picking! I just think it’s a great bonus when a figure – especially the female ones – have the rooted or punched hair. I think it adds another dimension to the figure. What does everyone else think?
There is no fate but what we collect for our own
Looks good, but not sure about the arms, they really limit the posability options. I like the head scuplt, it’s got that great “don’t mess with me” look.
Nice! I’m definitely picking this one up! I love my Sideshow Sarah, but I really dig what Hot Toys has done with this line so far. Terrific likeness!
There’s something about the head and neck that is just weird looking.
awesome…
Not HTs best work. I was expecting SS to preview one of their items…
Ahhh. Sarah. She rules!
