I can finally prove that there was no way/no how any chance an awesome bounty hunter like Greedo could miss an easy shot (at super/duper close range) w/o the Mighty George Lucas using his powers (he wrote the script)& makng poor/tragic Greedo miss
Great items, lets just hope the joints on the Greedo pro body are tight enough to actually hold the weight of the gun without the arm drooping!!!
Very nice! I would have liked poseable (moveable)fingers for Greedo’s hands, even as an exclusive! 2010 is shaping up to be Sideshow’s best for the 12″ scale Star Wars line! More classic trilogy–less Episode 1-3 characters. Thanks!
that is awsome that the table candle lights up but it will proble stay in the box for collector value and from becomeing a dust collector. I just hope that the c3-po and r2-d2 will have the led light up functions on them to make them looks so real but only smaller
i must say having the Cantina table light up was a stroke of genius on someone’s part. You could have just made it colored plastic but you went the extra mile for the collector, and I for one do appreciate it very much!!

. I love Greedo and find him quite stylish, and I LOVE the new PRO Body from you guys! Thank you SS for developing something more advanced than the Art S. Buck (who admittedly served us well for years).
This Cantina set feels like a bargain after the highly priced Emperors throne. Greedo looks nice and all but I’m mainly getting these to show off my favorite human charactor (Han Solo) who did shoot first, by the way, in MY Star Wars universe!

While I won’t be purchasing Greedo (not enough disposable income…) I have to say that Han shot first and Greedo never got the chance to shoot! At least that’s how I remember it back in ’77.

I don’t know about the rest of you, but I’m like a little kid at Christmas time waiting for some preview pics of Greedo & the Cantina enviro! Gotta do my mouse finger exercises so it’s limber enough to be quick on the draw come Friday!
I could be happy with a Chewbacca from either company – Medicom or Sideshow…as long as his “fur” is not sculted. A faux-fur covered Chewy would be the Crown Jewel of my collection!
with medicom producing the droids, we only have chewbacca left for the core characters of the line to be complete. will chewy be medicom or sideshow?
Sideshow has consistently delivered top notch Star Wars Alien figures. They have now up the bar again in setting a new and higher standard in that department.

While on the subject of Cantina Aliens i would absolutely LOVE a Dr. Evzan , Whur the barkeep , Hammerhead, Snaggletooth, And the Cantinea ban. i’d just do like Hasbro did with the small scale band members. make one and have him come with all the instruments so you can buy one or the whole set depending on your budget. Thanks for making such amazing quality. and Maria De Argon is the true Greedo not Paul Blake
love the Greedo… but I want a snowtrooper, hammerhead, boba fett, dengar, bosk, at-at driver, han solo with hoth gear (the exclusive should have the 1980′s hasbro, blue jacket) from Episode V,…. and from the clone wars new series… rex, cody, with removable helmets, more jedi….
Now this is what I call good news…. I hope this opens the “aliens” floodgate now and we get plenty of StarWars 12″ joy.
I like Dave’s suggestion for 1:6 scale Cantina band members. Let’s not forget about Luke’s run in with ‘ol walrus pus, too. So many aliens, so little dough!
It’s about time Sideshow gets to making some aliens, and Greedo is a perfect way to get back at it. I have to assume the environment will be the table and chairs. This will allow us to utilize our ANH Han Solo 12″ figure in a setting. I truly hope this is the beginning of a long line of 1:6 scale aliens.
Awesome. The aliens and droids are what made Star Wars such a huge hit when released.
I hope Greedo’s body is TIGHT, not floppy (it s*cks that my Indie Jones is like a rag doll)!
I also hope the ‘environment’ is not overpriced. Plastic would be a welcome change from the overpriced, fragile, and expensive to ship polystone.

Nice Sideshow very nice! Bring on the Cantina Band Members and more aliens. Still waiting for a Tusken Raider/Jawa 2-pack – that would rock! Anything new you can give us will be a welcomed addition for sure. More Vaders with a corrected helmet size would be fantastic as well
A ROTJ Vader with removeable helmet would have me jumping for joy! Great work Sideshow – always waiting to see what will come next

JS – I was just reminiscing about my childhood toys with a friend this morning (I tend to do that a lot now at my age!)about that very version of Greedo you mentioned! Yes, what a darn shame! However, I feel pretty confident that Sideshow will not disappoint! With news of a 1/6 Gamorrean Guard somewhere in the production pipeline, this should be a very good year for us Star Wars collectors! Let’s just hope this exclusive version with the enviro doesn’t cost so much we’ll have to leave poor ‘ol Greedo standing as he confronts Han in my display case “Cantina”!

Though not seen on screen in Jabba’s palace, Greedo has surely been there, and this figure will look great in my Jabba diorama. Sweet!
The cantina aliens were a major feature of the original Star Wars, and one of the coolest and most memorable sequences.

This is great to see one of the classic SW aliens (besides Chewbacca) get the 12″ treatment.
(Too many of us are still lamenting what a different toy company did with 12″ Greedo many years ago!)

Oh hell yeah!! I’m looking forward to this environ A LOT. Hope we’ll get plenty of other cantina patrons down the road. I’m with ShabbyBlue and Tom P. We’ve got to be able to put Han and Greedo together. If both figures can’t be displayed together is there really any point? My wife is going to shoot me having two 1/6 scale environments it going to take up so much space. Oh well at least I’ll be happy when I get shot:). Excellent work Sideshow.

Are you kidding me? With all the other figures that they could possibly make they pick this one? If your sticking with Episode IV then how about a Tarkin, Biggs or a Wedge. Heaven forbid it occurs to anyone to make a Chewbacca – Greedo, might as well make one of Ted Burnett or Jawa #3.

So does this “Cantina Environment” just include the center table, or do we get the booth seat for Greedo to sit in as well? Ideally, I’d love to have the entire booth for both Greedo AND Han to sit in, similar to Gentle Giant’s bookends set.
