So just what are our plans?
We’ve got some very exciting news! For the thousands of collectors who can’t travel to San Diego this year, we’re now doing even more to bring the con experience to you! This year, Sideshow Collectibles will be expanding its web presence for the much-anticipated San Diego Comic-Con for the ENTIRE month of July!

Man, I wish I was going back to SDCC this year. I would love to see these first hand, especially being a fan of TMNT since pretty much the beginning that mouser is pretty sweet.
However, I’m still dissappointed in not getting any Avatar figures yet. I’ve been waiting since Fantacular for Jake, Neytiri, etc. Please release them soon SCC.

No real exclusives I want this year but I’m sure you will show something that I will need. One of these years I really need to go there and see it all in person
@LaMelnik – congrats on the job! After two years I know you’re very relieved. Just landed one myself and start my training Monday and I am SOOOooo relieved! Thought I was going to have to put Han, Luke, Leia, My Stormies and all other Star Wars figs on the auction block! Man! That would have been a huge heartbreak!
I’m really hoping that Comic-Con will put a few canceled/refunded passes on ebay like they’ve done in the past. I was too late to order passes this year due to my unemployment.
Oh, well…at least I should be able to order some of the incredible figures and other goodies during the online event!
Can’t wait for SDCC 2010 after a two year lay-off. And yes I plan on buying a round of drinks for the SS Staff as I stated during Spook 2009.
Sure wish I was attending Comic-Con this year! It’s a real bummer to be laid off twice in a year!
Sideshow…..do you need anyone to sweep floors or bring coffee to your sculptors? Need to find gainful employment in time to order more Star Wars figures – especially Hammerhead! Wonder if the Gamorrean guard will be displayed at Comic-Con! Man, I’d sell a kidney to have one of those!..(not really…wink, wink)

somethiings happening. We want more, and we know we shouldn’t. I pray there are things about the Con that Sideshow is keeping from us. I’m not the collector I should be. Maybe the shroud of other certain exclusive will reveal its self before we enter into this dark time.

This is the first time that I won’t be getting a SDCC Sideshow. Every year we see something that’s so unbelievable that you have to buy it. Honestly, I would’ve love to seen a Jason Voorhees from the Remake ,a TMNT 12 inch, or a different Star Wars character. These statues are great quality but I can’t afford them.
awesome! i love it the republic army is getn there, but uh whena we gona get a seperitist army? theres still not one of the many many variations of battle droids supers destroyers and all the others.im all for you guys makn all the clones no complaint make anything you want i love all starwars i just hope some day you include some CIS infantry too. thanks

I am good with the blue clone! I dig the clone variations and adding one that is other than what Medicom did was a good call. I still hope you eventually redo the ones Medicom did, but the others first.

I am glad SSC chose to release the Blue EPII Clone for SDCC. This will complement their White EPII Clone very well. In addition, it will also complement the collection of those of us who already have the Yellow and Red EPII Clones from Medicom. Good choice SSC! As usual, you guys didn’t disappoint the collectors.
A prequel Clone Trooper and no GI Joe at all? Looks like I will be saving money this year. First time in 6 years I will not be buying ANY C.C. Sideshow exclusives.
Would of liked to see a Yellow (capain)? Phase I clone. At least he would of come with some nice macro-binoculars.
Love to see Star Wars Clone Wars- Aura Sing, or Cad Bane, Death Watch Commander, AND ESB Boba Fett(30th anniv.) in 12″ format.

I know clones were…well, clones, and produced in mass numbers to fight…but this is a LOT of variations on a basic theme as far as expensive collectibles go.
Still, everything looks good, as usual, SSC.
Disappointed that it’s just a blue AOTC Clone. I was expecting/hoping for Captain Rex with removable helmet. Sorry to say, but this one is an easy pass. Not nearly as cool as previous SW SDCC exclusives.
the green spiderwoman is a skrull from the Secret Invasion series where the skrulls shapeshift into the marvel heroes

It looks like Rex to me. tilt the moniter back, cuz I’m seeing blue. Either way, they’re gonna probably reveal both. I’m pumped for the new ESB figures, and for the The Dead line.

I still can’t figure out what the is between the clone Trooper and the Spider Woman LSB. Could it be another Terminatrix head from T3? Maybe a Marcus Endoskeleton head… What do you guys think?

Looks like a reverse image of Boba Fett to me on the right hand side. After all, it is the 30th Anniversary of ESB.

It might just be me, but if you look at the background picture you can see a Clone Trooper helmet on the top right, a Terminator skull on the top left, an Iron Man helmet next to that skull, aannnnddd that’s all I can see.
I’m guessing a Clone Trooper 12inch, some LSB “chick” from Iron Man (or Marvel I guess), a Terminator “head”, and a Mouser from TMNT (though I don’t see anything TMNT in that background pic)

The large bust looks like Syndrome, from the Incredibles, although the people who suggested Spider Woman is a good guess too. That’s definitely a clone trooper. I can’t tell what the other two are. Someone above mentioned a Tron head, that would be awesome.
Maybe not a clone… I am guessing a concept Boba Fett for the 30th ESB tie-in
Looks like a Marvel bust (reminds me of Spider-Woman, or whatever that was), a 12-in Clone figure, an Undying Corpse, and… maybe some smaller Terminator head?

I was just noticing that the AOTC clne is still in stock. I’m waiting for them to hit us with the red, green, yellow, and blue repaints of those. Hey what about Mara Jade, hammerhead, C-3PO, R2-D2, Chewbacca, Boba Fett (esb), esb bounty hunters, or please NO ewoks!. Drop the pricees on your clones. They are mostly repaints now.

I really love all the SW figures that Sideshow puts out and I own them all. More clones are always welcome in my collection. So, thanks Sideshow! I have hope for some ESB announcements during the comic-con.

I’m sure it’s a Spiderwoman LSB but maybe an exclusive like a Black Spidey or a negative zone maybe??? not a fan of Marvel so not sure but I believe someone knowlegeable will have a clue.
… looks like a Dooku head sculpt, poss. a Fett 12″, but looks like yet ANOTHER clone, the one in front looks to be an animated maquette, probably Clone Wars.. and the Bust could be Aurra Sing, Scarlett Johanssens character from Ironman 2, we’ll see.
Wish it would be some more street fighter releases or the possibility of mortal kombat statues.
Obviously a clone, I hope they also have Commander Cody as a pre-order and some more Cantina alien goodies before the Con is over.
And something 1:6 Indy-ish would be just wonderful.
(With disappointing word of no Marion plans in the Q&A, I hope at least a Sallah or Ceremonial Belloq might happen someday. Raiders is the true classic among those films.)

I’m beginning to think that Sideshow is taking the Clone Wars a bit to literally. But I’d rather see another Clone as an exclusive instead of a Cantina alien ..
I see a Star Wars Clone Trooper, and possibly a Patient Zero 1:1 scale bust, and maybe a Spider-Woman bust? The two small legs in the front? I don’t know. Maybe a cool Pegasus flying horse maquette from Clash Of The Titans? I hope so!
Where is that Friday the 13th Jason that was announced soooo many months ago? Maquette or something? Wasnt it around halloween that we got a sneak peek of that?
And I believe the other one is a female bust. The “fire”is her hair, You can se a ear and the neck seems to be turned and the shoulder has that slight up movement. Or maybe not.
Sorry, but I’m never tired of Clone Troopers. But They should at least start with the Commanders.

I’m with Luke, Rich and the rest of you guys; we’re four months into the year and no ‘Empire’ announcements. Even if anything’s pre-ordering soon, I doubt we get it before the 30th Anniversary is over!
