Original broadcast date: December 2, 1963

In the episode 'Nightmare' a group of astronauts have been captured and made prisoners of war on the planet of Ebon. The bat-winged, gargoyle-like alien Ebonites interrogate the prisoners using their sense manipulating control wands. The prisoners are subjected to torture, drugs and vivid hallicinations in order to 'break them' into revealing secret information.

When the prisoners are reassembled and allowed basic necessities the group believes that someone has been broken and turned traitor. They all suspect Major Jong and are about to execute him when young Pvt. Dix confesses during a mental breakdown that he revealed secrets to a hallucination of his mother.

It is then that the prisoners discover their 'capture' was a deliberate plan by the military of Earth in order to test their resolve under foreign interrogation. The group has been pushed mentally to the limit and they do not believe the truth when it is revealed. This results in a final scuffle in which the Chief of Staff is killed accidentally.

This 12" figure features the likeness of the Chief Ebonite Interrogator. He comes complete with his Ebonite torture wand, a handheld control box, batwing costume, neck collar and display base.
