For the moment, we are only working in 1:4 scale for the modern horror characters. We re-evaluate our planning and product line lists frequently, and we will inquire with our development teams about the prospect of returning to Horror in 1:6.

Sideshow is always actively working on product enhancements, sometimes right up until a product ships. We enjoy the chance to add additional features when possible, like the Thanos and Mistress Death. In some cases, we haven’t sorted out the final engineering or features when a product is solicited, but we continue to work at it [...]

Oh, we’ve done more than consider. You’ll be a happy camper, but bear in mind that our development process does take time, so we can’t offer you immediate gratification. Reassurance, indeed.

We are in fact developing lots of Tron: Legacy products. Not only the Sam Flynn Light Disc set, but also a 1:4 scale Lightcycle and an as-of-yet-unannounced 1:4 scale villain too. Seriously, do you have any plan to produce a War Machine Legendary Scale Figure? When? I really want it, as my Mark III Half Scale Maquette needs a friend!
We’re a touch distracted by the awesomeness presented by The Avengers, but yes, it’s in the plan.
Suggestions for Submitting a Question »
Do you have a question for our Production Team?
If you would like to submit a question using the form, please remember that Ask Sideshow should NOT be used as a way to solicit for a job, contact Customer Service, ask about a shipping date, or register a complaint. Most of those questions, comments, and solicitations can be most efficiently sent to us by filling out our online Customer Service Request Form.
Also, a fair warning: Questions that ask, “Will you be doing/Why don’t you do [insert license or character name]?” may never be answered. We’re happy to drop hints when we can, but we sometimes cannot answer direct questions about what we’re planning in the future for a variety of reasons, which include (but are not limited to) licensing, production, artistic contracts, and ever-changing schedules and projected release dates. Please feel free to use the form for all these sorts of questions or quasi-suggestions, but PLEASE don’t take offense if when we don’t answer to your full satisfaction… or don’t answer at all – it’s not personal, we promise!
