Q.I want to purchase a George Washington doll like the one you introduced a few years back. Are you going to reintroduce them? I hope so, I want one badly. Thank you.

Sorry to say, but we don’t have any plans to return to the historical side in the near future. We think your best bet on George Washington is through the community at SideshowCollectors.Com. Also, for any sold out product we recommend using the Sideshow Retail Network link on the product’s page, to see if we [...]

Q.Any chance of us seeing Predators in 1:1 scale or 1:2 scale?

Yes, there’s a very good chance. We’re actively, truly interested and working through the R&D to be sure that we can do these justice.

Q.I’m a big fan of your game collectibles, especially the Halo Reach Spartans. I was wondering if there are any plans on the new game Elder Scolls V Skyrim since its been a huge success? Maybe a figure of the Dovahkiin (dragonborn) or Alduin. Maybe you don’t have the rights yet and if you don’t please do anything within your power to get them because would be so EPIC!

Fus ro dah. We can only nod, agree, and say… maybe.

We nabbed an interview with illustrator David Murdoch about working with Sideshow, his artistic process and his first great horror publication. Welcome sir! Let’s see, can you start by telling us a bit about your background in art and coming to work with Sideshow? I can give you that generic, “I’ve always been drawing” answer, [...]

Q.I think you would sell more Marvel versus statues and dioramas, if you made them the same scale as the DC Direct versus, such as Superman vs Darkseid. Do you have any plans to do a line in that scale? Thor vs Loki or Destroyer; Thing vs Hulk (Marvel Masterpiece) or Hulk versus Abomination; Spiderman vs Venom with Spidy shooting a web; Iron Man (Modern Armor) vs Namor or Mandarin, Captain America in traditional costume (not World War I or movie version) vs Red Skull. By the way, would prefer to see Thor in his traditional costume with blue pants.

We love the diorama format too, and respect your point about size. On the whole, we’ve seen a bigger response to our larger, single character efforts like Premium Format, and smaller response to our diorama efforts. We’re evaluating reasons, designs, and more… but we will be devoting more time and attention to the Premium Format [...]
