  1. Jak says:

Wowee. I’m used to seeing “collector’s” prices, but $800 is a tad into outer space. Isn’t the economy still badly bruised? Lol. No, it is a gorgeous piece, and I will appreciate it in pictures. No problem.

  2. roguebaron says:

come on sc, I love it, but I want to see the back before I take the plunge, how about that 360 view? to help me decide?

  3. Adam Gibbs says:

The next thing will be the Nazgul riding the Black Wings (Dragons) that would be awesome and expensive. I’ll pass on this statue I’m glad I was able to get a premium format figure of the Morgul Lord.

  4. malice says:

    About Freaking time sideshow!!

    I kid…

Thank you for pulling me back into the game, i was dorment for about two waiting for this piece.

    Thanks again……

  5. andre says:

Awesome job SS! If I were that scale reference apple, I’d be scared sauce-less!
And what do you mean by actually ‘charging’ for all the time & talent that went into this piece?! Isn’t this sideshowtoy.org?!

  6. Alejandro Rosales says:

It looks by the pic that the total height should be around 30″ from base to the horse ear so without the base the horse should be around 25.2 IN. which compared to the Morgul Lord seems to be a little small to me and which compared to 799.99 + shipping make it look even smaller.
I’m not so sure of ordering this piece now?

  7. Ralphie says:

Really like this..looks way Dark.I would Display it without the Sword Hand it looks so wicked.
    What’s under the HOOD???

  8. Mark says:

Wow… don’t think I can justify $799+ for another awkwardly posed Ringwraith. The Witch King is alright,, I mean I like it despite the pose, but this looks too similar with the strange posing choice. Waay too expensive as well; the last one that I ordered directly from SS cost too much with exchange, shipping, duties, etc – and that was just to Canada, hate to think about our EU friends or others. The hoops to jump through for a first time order were ridiculous as well. I think Ebay may be our only hope.

  9. Robert Sedgwick says:

This looks great. But just how big is it, have I got the room. With the rest of my P/f collection going to need a bigger room.

  10. alex says:

at 799.99 this will remain in sideshow’s warehouse and not my collection. not even going to miss it

  11. Skaa2418 says:

..awesome awesome awesome…I can see improvement and lots of art work involve to produce such masterpiece I would say…this will be another grail…

  12. Michel says:

I agree whith Nick and Kevin.
With Nick because the steed seems too small.
Whith Kevin because $800 is too expansive, two PF carachters on same base so $600 will be not cheap but most logical.

  13. BigBunny says:

i wish i could afford this, it looks great.

  14. Daimon says:

Seems that the scale of horse and the Dark Rider is wrong…

  15. MakoSOLDIER says:

What. A. Waste having the cloak be real cloth instread of it being sculpted. This could have looked SO DYNAMIC with the cloth being thrown around and whooshing from the movment, but instead it just… hangs there. Such a missed opprotunity =/

  16. ORKRIST says:

This thing is not worth the money! Review your pricing policy!

  17. mark miller says:

Wow. He’s riding a shetland pony.

  18. Felipe says:

Excellent piece. I want a Sauron PF next and make another Balrog statue please but bigger.

  19. DJ says:

C’mon people,, why is $799.99 a surprise? There is only one other PF in Sideshow history that has the figure riding something,, and that is the Scout Trooper w/ Speeder Bike. The price is exactly the same,, so for anyone who has been paying attention, there is really no surprise here. I for one appreciate that the 3D creative team had the foresight to make the horse on it’s hindlegs thereby allowing the piece to take up considerably less room if displayed next to other collectibles. I really would not want to have to give this piece it’s own shelf because horsey needed to be on all fours.

  20. Nick says:

799 is way too much for a wraith riding a pony from hell. Seriously that horse needs to be bigger.

  21. Rick says:

Now that’s amazing! But I sure hope that it’s the flash from the camera that’s making the horse look so gray in color. Time to dig deep into the wallet. This is going to hurt.

  22. Kevin says:

$799 really??? Why is it the size did not increase from standard Preium Format thats are only $299 to $499? Yet this is $799?? I take it there is the hourse and the rider but $799, really? $499 for the regular edition and $599 for the Exclusive I could see but $799….then another $50 for shipping. I am losing my faith in Sideshow… Prices are getting crazy

  23. Slingblade says:

WoW, VERY impressive, would look fantastic in my movie room.

  24. Eddy says:

Why is the horse so light in color? I remember them as black…but the piece looks great!

  25. Vivek says:

    Amazing!!!

  26. Batmyte says:

Impressive piece with a steep price tag. But I want one!!

  27. Arielle says:

The detail is incredible geez I’d be thrilled to have this! It’s so huge must have ahhh!

  28. Chris Thomas says:

Absolutely amazing sideshow, what a talented team you really are! you never fail to deliver so keep the LOTR Premiums coming.
