Senior Costume Designer at Sideshow, Tim Hanson, bid a fond farewell to his 20s last weekend in style, scoring (begging his mom for) tickets to Batman Live, an onstage extravaganza currently enjoying a successful stadium tour around the country.
The show chronicles the adventures of a young Richard Grayson, as he sets out on a quest for justice following the murder of his parents, and eventually follows in the footsteps of his hero, Batman – much to the disgruntlement of Grayson’s guardian, Bruce Wayne. Featuring a who’s-who of Batman’s most dastardly rogues, the spectacle engages the caped crusader in high-flying wire combat and stunning aerial trapeze artistry in the midst of dazzling pyrotechnics and animated scenery.
After having recently taken a trip to Warner Brothers with some of the Sideshow crew for sneak peeks at costuming, Tim was clearly delighted to round out the week Bat-style.
