Andy Bergholtz Carves DC Comics’ The Joker and Two Face
Friday, November 2, 2012Sideshow sculptor, Andy Bergholtz has one last trick up his sleeve this season in the pumpkin carving realm.
Over Halloween Andy was commissioned to carve The Joker to help celebrate DC Comics’ Super-Villains program, an up-close look the bad guys who have plagued Gotham City and Metropolis through the decades. Fans were asked to choose the Ultimate Super-Villain Team, and, of course, The Joker was selected the top “Wild-Card” with 79% of the vote.

Watching an artist work like this is just amazing. It blows my mind how they can start with a glob of clay or whatever the medium and already know exactly what the end result will be and begin forming it.
