Disney Announces an Official Release Date for Pirates of the Caribbean 5

It’s official; Disney is making a 5th installment of Pirates of the Caribbean, set to release July 10th, 2015. Johnny Depp will be returning as the franchise’s star, Captain Jack Sparrow, although there has been no word on what the premise of the story will be. Shooting is set to begin some time in 2014, giving Disney enough time to wrap up The Lone Ranger, in which Depp is cast as Tonto.
