Featured Collector: Khai

As a kid growing up in the 80s, I was lucky enough to have parents and grandparents that spoiled me with plenty of toys, including Masters of the Universe, Centurions, Voltron, Thundercats, and one of my favourites – Transformers! In my photos, you can see the remaining original G1 vintage Transformers that I still have from way back then.

His Collection
As an adult, I really only started collecting in late 2011 with the 3.75″ Star Wars Vintage Collection figures. But this quickly branched out into the sixth scale figures from Sideshow and Hot Toys, and I haven’t really slowed down since! Throw in the Masterpiece Transformers from Takara and the odd piece from eFX and NECA, and you have my collection as it stands today!

Nice collection. I hope to one day have a big enough space to display all my old toys as well. You should maximize your display space in that Ikea shelf though by adding in your own tiered shelves. I bought some of those $2 wall shelves from Ikea that match and used a jigsaw to cut them to 13-1/16″ then the remaining section in half for legs.

Very cool collection. You can tell by the variety of genres that he really collects what he enjoys.

@Robert: Thanks mate! I definitely only collect things from source material I love!! The only exception to that has been the Clone Troopers! I hated the prequels, but Sideshow just made the figures too awesome to pass up! :)
