“I have you now…”

Cue the Imperial March! It’s been four years since our first Darth Vader release in Sixth Scale, and the Sideshow team is thrilled to revisit the Dark Lord – just in time for the Return of the Jedi 30th Anniversary!

“Impressive. Most impressive.”

We’ve gone above and beyond to capture Lord Vader in cinematic detail. In addition to a redesigned body and expertly crafted costume, the Darth Vader Deluxe Sixth Scale Figure includes essential accessories sure to impress true Star Wars fans.

Collectors will find astonishing detail inside the helmet, and an intricate mask with head reveal. Ten interchangeable hands offer the ability to pose Darth Vader with a variety of powerful Force gestures. To complete this Deluxe edition, we’re including an impressive Imperial-themed light up display base, and meditation chamber stand for helmet dome and mask display.

‘Return of the Jedi’ 30th Anniversary Exclusive

The Sideshow Exclusive version of the Darth Vader Deluxe Sixth Scale Figure will feature an additional swap out of Darth Vader’s severed gauntlet and hand (shown right).

With this unique accessory, represent the climactic battle between father and son from the conclusion of Return of the Jedi, moments before Anakin’s final redemption.

Both the regular and Exclusive versions of this figure will be priced at $249.99.

The Exclusive Darth Vader Deluxe Sixth Scale Figure will be available for Pre-Order on Thursday, May 23rd, 2013 in the weekly Sideshow Newsletter, which is typically published between 2PM and 3PM (Pacific Time).
This will be a day long remembered.

  • Ash

This is amazzzzzing. I wish I had more money lol Put one up for a contest SideShow so some of us could have some hope to own one at least ; )

  • chew74

That’s beautiful, but what’s is going on with the stunt saber? I really think it should have the saber used in Empire and Return, they were the same.

  • davey

This IS the Vader I’ve been looking for! At $250 it’s a steal. 23May can’t come soon enough. Next lets have Greivous, a deluxe Darth Maul and Savage Opress. Thanks Sideshow!

  • Victor

Even though I don’t own one yet. I loved the look of the last vader. This is first day pre-order for me. Gotta get the Exclusive!

  • Sean C.

Looks Great! With that large price tag though I’ll have to think a little harder about purchasing this than I would have expected.

  • John White

The price is totally way off considering the price of the other vader, He was 125$ and besides the reveal helment and the light up features and base whats the big difference. The prices are getting more and more nuts. I’ve bought everything so far but passing on this and wont buy much else till these prices become reasonable.

  • leslie Phan

    THX SIDESHOW !!!

  • Jedi Jim

Should be interesting to see if the head reveal is Sebastian Shaw. Poor Sebastian was replaced by Hayden Christiansen in the final scene of Return of the Jedi (DVD reissue). He deserves a nod here. Oh and will definitely get Vader 2.0 as light up features are a must have.

  • andre

What about the ‘reveal’ sculpt?! Pics, please!

  • Henry

I am on this like white on rice!

  • paul leavitt

    I must have this.

  • blobafatt

Of coarse the price is justifiable compared with medicom etc. They’ve lifted their game. Only hope it isn’t 14″ and moveable eyes would put it up there.

  • EricFoss

I bad mouthed you for producing three 1/6-scale Yodas. Since then, one after the other, Wolffe, Malgus, Vader. Jeez. Are you trying to bankrupt me? Regardless, I’m excited. Thanks, I guess…

  • Tyler

Oh WOW. I really wanted to like the Mythos Vader but the way his helmet looked bugged me. This one however completely fixes that.

  • Justin

Couldn’t quite save in time for this, six hungry kids. Have entered the draw though.
Best Vader in this scale by a long shot.

I am ready to give you my money!!! Take it from me now!

  • Max Rodriguez

we want more, we want more. we really, really like it. we want more.

  • davey

Sideshow, in looking at the photo gallery of the figure, is it me or are the nostril breathing tubes quite far back from his nose? Almost as if the character would have to lean forward and why isn’t there a full frontal picture of the additional Anakin Skywalker portrait? I’ll have to watch ROTJ again to see where the breather tubes are in relation to Anakin’s head when he removes the helmet to face Luke. Other than that, loving the figure!

  • matt

i’ve been wanting a Vader for some time now and this one will be a great addition to my collection…
