StarCraft II turns three today!

Saturday, July 27, 2013

On July 27, 2010 Blizzard launched StarCraft II: Wings of Liberty. Developers traveled to major launch events in locations spanning the globe including London, Berlin, Paris, Stockholm, Moscow, Orange County, Singapore, Taipei, Mexico, Brazil, and Australia to celebrate the game’s release with players. Since then, over 3 million copies of the game have been sold, and fans just can’t get enough!

This year at San Diego Comic-Con we unveiled our massive Raynor – Terran Space Marine Sixth Scale Figure at the Sideshow Collectibles booth. With more than 500 individual parts, the marshal-turned-vigilante is over 15″ of pure awesome! To celebrate, we’ve got a few behind the scene pictures from the making of the figure:

Damn. You sure know how to pick your friends, Jimmy.

This is just the beginning – we’ve got a few more surprises from StarCraft II we’re excited to share in the near future, so stay tuned!

This is otherworldly! August 1st can’t be here fast enough. I hope the Tychus Findlay sixth scale figure isn’t far behind.
