This sort of feels like cheating because you’ve asked three very different questions here. But what the heck, here goes: 1. Our CEO has a big soft spot for The Rocketeer, and with the chance to combine Disney and Art Deco themes our design team loved working on the character. We have a finished Premium [...]

Yes, we’re evaluating the intrinsic resin use for many upcoming projects. It will not be used for all characters, all the time… it will be used where it can really be best utilized to enhance a likeness. At this moment, it’s uncertain whether Jack will feature the intrinsic paint style or more traditional paintwork… we’ll [...]

You can join the ranks of the many artists and development team members campaigning for Barbossa. He’s the next character that we want to do from POTC, even ahead of Davy Jones. We hope to set sail on Barbossa in the near future.

We are in fact developing lots of Tron: Legacy products. Not only the Sam Flynn Light Disc set, but also a 1:4 scale Lightcycle and an as-of-yet-unannounced 1:4 scale villain too. Because the light features are so essential to Tron, we need additional time to work out all of the engineering and functionality on our [...]

Why don’t you make more 1:6 Scale SITH LORDS? Darth Revan, Darth Nihilus, Starkiller and other Sith like that from the games and historical timelines? If you did, I (and I’m sure many others) would certainly buy all of them! The droids, clone troopers and other basic characters like Han Solo are boring to people like me, who are into the DARKSIDE of the Force…that’s all, thanks. (p.s the G.I Joe NINJA figures are badass!!)
We absolutely should. They’re all excellent characters, and would make fantastic Sixth Scale figures. We would like to get to them all in due time. At the moment, we’re baking up a new Darth Vader and Darth Malgus. And thanks for the compliments on our Joes! Hey, Ninja + Sith = Darth Maul, right?
Suggestions for Submitting a Question »
Do you have a question for our Production Team?
If you would like to submit a question using the form, please remember that Ask Sideshow should NOT be used as a way to solicit for a job, contact Customer Service, ask about a shipping date, or register a complaint. Most of those questions, comments, and solicitations can be most efficiently sent to us by filling out our online Customer Service Request Form.
Also, a fair warning: Questions that ask, “Will you be doing/Why don’t you do [insert license or character name]?” may never be answered. We’re happy to drop hints when we can, but we sometimes cannot answer direct questions about what we’re planning in the future for a variety of reasons, which include (but are not limited to) licensing, production, artistic contracts, and ever-changing schedules and projected release dates. Please feel free to use the form for all these sorts of questions or quasi-suggestions, but PLEASE don’t take offense if when we don’t answer to your full satisfaction… or don’t answer at all – it’s not personal, we promise!
