The Knights of the Crusades first caught my attention as a child. Mysterious and captivating, the tales of these colorful medieval characters and their journeys through the exotic lands of the Middle East held more appeal to me than even their arms and armor. As a child, my view of that part of the world [...]

Wha? Done with the Dead? No way! Actually, the Dead line is getting ready to explode, in a major way. So far, we’ve been pretty tame with our zombies, usually modern and usually fairly realistic. You’re going to see the Dead grow to include some major fun, fantasy, and historical elements. It’s going to get [...]

The origin of the virus is yet unknown as humanity struggles to contain the Dead. Without answers, the hordes multiply rapidly. Few attempts to kill them have succeeded, but scientists have gathered a small number of specimens for testing and training. The answer seems to lay with the head, the brain of the once reanimated [...]

Hello Sideshow, let me begin by saying I’m a huge fan of your work! I am an avid collector of both Sideshow and Bowen’s FS and bust statues. Bowen has one big flaw though they stick to the same characters and make different versions over and over again. I’m a member on statuemarvels.com and I’ve asked Randy already whether or not they would consider making some of my favorite characters, and he’s answered by saying he seriously doubts it or flat out no. My question to your team is do you have any interest in doing any Marvel cosmic pieces such as Eternity, The Stranger (one of my favorites I might add), The Celestials, Living Tribunal, Inbetweener, The Watcher, Infinity Watch, Drax the Destroyer and any other of the most powerful and awesome characters such as the Beyonder? I’ve got quite a collection already building but all of these guys have been left out! I’m hoping you can help me and the many other fans of these Marvel characters get these guys made! I know you have to have some kind of interest judging by your completely jaw-dropping work of the Galactus Legendary Bust. Thanks for your time and I hope you consider my ideas.
Bowen does a tremendous range of characters. In fact, over the history he’s had with Marvel, we would credit him as having offered THE most diverse range! Sideshow and Bowen have a similar challenge, which is keeping the line(s) healthy by using well known characters, and still weaving in a diverse choice of characters from the Universe. Unfortunately, some characters are so obscure, that they simply don’t make for good products – not enough people know them or want them. For hardcore fans, that can be a source of real frustration – we get it. We can’t speak for Bowen, but we see evidence in his choices that we think similarly, and work hard to please all camps – those that have a more casual appreciation of all things Marvel, and those that are dyed in the wool, hardcore dudes that want EVERY character.
Suggestions for Submitting a Question »
Do you have a question for our Production Team?
If you would like to submit a question using the form, please remember that Ask Sideshow should NOT be used as a way to solicit for a job, contact Customer Service, ask about a shipping date, or register a complaint. Most of those questions, comments, and solicitations can be most efficiently sent to us by filling out our online Customer Service Request Form.
Also, a fair warning: Questions that ask, “Will you be doing/Why don’t you do [insert license or character name]?” may never be answered. We’re happy to drop hints when we can, but we sometimes cannot answer direct questions about what we’re planning in the future for a variety of reasons, which include (but are not limited to) licensing, production, artistic contracts, and ever-changing schedules and projected release dates. Please feel free to use the form for all these sorts of questions or quasi-suggestions, but PLEASE don’t take offense if when we don’t answer to your full satisfaction… or don’t answer at all – it’s not personal, we promise!
