Q.Does Sideshow have any plans to release some of the movie versions of the Avengers team members in Premium Format for the new Avengers movie? I am specifically referring to Thor, Captain America, and Iron Man which have already been done for their respective movies?

Mmmhmm! We couldn’t be more excited about Avengers – every new preview gets us more pumped! Stay tuned for more…

Q.I think you would sell more Marvel versus statues and dioramas, if you made them the same scale as the DC Direct versus, such as Superman vs Darkseid. Do you have any plans to do a line in that scale? Thor vs Loki or Destroyer; Thing vs Hulk (Marvel Masterpiece) or Hulk versus Abomination; Spiderman vs Venom with Spidy shooting a web; Iron Man (Modern Armor) vs Namor or Mandarin, Captain America in traditional costume (not World War I or movie version) vs Red Skull. We love the diorama format too, and respect your point about size. On the whole, we’ve seen a bigger response to our larger, single character efforts like Premium Format, and smaller response to our diorama efforts. Q.Hello Sideshow, I know you guys just released some new Captain America stuff, but I was thinking that it would be really be cool to have a mini size Cap shield maybe 10″-12″ with a stand, in a metallic form. Maybe some sort of aluminum or something. I love the full size versions but they are just too big and too expensive. It would look great displayed next to or with the new statues. I think it would sell great as well. Just a suggestion from a huge SSC fan.

Great suggestion, and we’re thinking along the same lines. No promises, not yet.
