David
McCallum stars as a bitter Welshman, Gwyllm, with ambitions beyond
a lifetime of labor in the coal mines. Seeking an avenue of escape,
he volunteers as a guinea pig for the experiments of a geneticist,
Professor Mathers, who has developed a machine capable of accelerating
human biological evolution. Propelled by his altruistic goal to
speed humankind's evolutionary progress beyond the capacity for
war, the scientist throws the switch and Gwyllm is transformed
into the man of the future.
Gwyllm
becomes distorted as his cranium expands, resulting in powerfully
dangerous telepathic powers, and a sixth finger develops on each
hand for enhanced dexterity. He is soon overtaken by an obsession
to progress even further. In the end, it is up to his girlfriend
Cathy, to help Gwyllm become a 20th Century human again.

This 12" figure features an likeness of Gwyllm. This figure comes with six fingers on
each hand, white lab uniform, two books (The Descent of Man by Charles Darwin and Bach's
Preludes for Piano) and a display base with logo.
