Refused Packages

It is in everyone’s best interest to understand any charges that may be incurred with your shipment

Therefore we are always available to provide you with a shipping quote prior to shipping the order to you. International customers are strongly encouraged to get a ship quote and to contact their customs office for a quote on VAT or import fees on their order. This way we can avoid abandonment issues at Customs, loss of funds to both Sideshow and the collector, and unnecessary interruption of online account service. If your account has a history of refused shipments for orders, Sideshow Collectibles reserves the right to terminate your user account and refuse future service.

U.S. Customer who refuses proper shipment:

If you are a U.S. customer whose package was processed and shipped correctly but you refuse it upon delivery, you will be responsible for the shipping charges of the item’s return. You will be refunded back the item’s original cost and taxes (if applicable) less the original shipping fees, return shipping fees and non-refundable deposit.

International Customer who refuses proper shipment:

If you are an international customer who refuses to make prompt delivery arrangements with the carrier for a properly shipped package, which results in it being returned or if you abandon it with the carrier/customs for any reason, then you will still be responsible for VAT/import fees plus return shipping costs or abandonment fees. This along with the original shipping fees and non-refundable deposit will be deducted from your refund of the item price and the difference will be credited back to you. If the costs are more than your product credit on file, Sideshow may bill you for the balance.

 If Sideshow ships the package incorrectly.

If Sideshow Collectibles has mistakenly charged and shipped an order that you have already canceled, we ask that you alert us via phone 1-855-SIDESHOW (Int’l-805-214-2157) or via e-mail through We may instruct you to refuse shipment prior to delivery or if it has arrived we will assist you to return the item and receive a refund once the item arrives back into our warehouse.


If you are not available to accept your package.

Sideshow Collectibles makes every effort to make sure that you know when  your item is arriving, when it will be charged, and when it is on its way to you, so that you can take delivery of it in good order.

Prior to sending out any item, Customers are informed through our Arrival Notice  and Processing Notice emails the date that their item will be charged.  Customers will then receive an invoice and tracking information for their package the same day it is shipped to them, so customers must make sure to make arrangements to take receipt of their item.

Our carrier will make three delivery attempts before returning the item back to us.  If your order arrives back to Sideshow Collectibles without a prior return request, your item will be returned back to stock and you will be refunded for the price of the item minus the non-refundable deposit, original and return shipping fees.
