Credit Card Policy

Our policy is that the credit card listed within your online account must belong to the registered Sideshow Collectibles’ online account holder. The credit card must be a valid form of payment, defined as having available funds and displaying a current expiration date. The billing address provided in your account and on your order must match the billing address of the credit card.

For Fraud Protection purposes, we can only accept a second party credit card if we receive a completed authorization form from the card holder, prior to charging the order.

Accepted credit cards:
We currently accept Visa, Mastercard, Discover and American Express. Paypal is also accepted for select in stock items shipping within the United States. If this option is available to you, it will appear at check out.

We DO NOT ACCEPT Electronic or virtual credit cards (i.e. Electron Visa Cards).


Updating your credit card information:
You can now update your credit card information through your online user account here.

When your card is charged:
Customers who pre-order product by credit card will ONLY be billed when the product becomes available to ship. This process may take 48-72 hours from processing to receiving a shipping notification via email. In-stock transactions are processed during our business hours, usually within 1 day of placing your order.

Currency:
All transactions are completed in US dollars. All refunds are given in US dollars. For more info click here.


Credit Card declines:
If your credit card information is invalid due to expiration date or declines at the time that your item is ready to process and ship, we will notify you via e-mail. In general, customers will have between 3 – 5 business days from our notification to replace the declined payment method, depending on availability of stock. Orders will be canceled if new card information is not provided timely, if mailed payment is not sent timely, or if the stock of the item is depleted after the initial attempt to charge your card. This courtesy window for payment replacement does not guarantee that we will hold your item.

Courtesy recharging of your card:
If you received a notification that your card with be rerun automatically, then it is your responsibility to make funds available on that card or cancel your order by the date specified within that correspondence. Sideshow will not be responsible for bank fees or overdrafts assessed due to a second attempt to process your card.

Order canceled after second decline:
If your credit card declines a second time, whether you have requested to rerun the original card on file, it was rerun automatically or you have provided us with a new card, your order will be canceled immediately and you will receive a cancellation confirmation via e-mail.

Courtesy payment replacement window:
In general, customers will have between 3 – 5 business days from our notification to replace the declined payment method, depending on availability of stock. The courtesy time for payment replacement may not be offered on items that feature an extremely limited edition. In these situations, the item’s arrival and processing notifications will convey that no courtesy payment replacement window is available. We recommend that customers review their notifications carefully and prepare their funds accordingly!

Charge Backs
All accounts that have submitted charge backs are temporarily disabled, in order to avoid further billing and shipping issues, while charge disputes are being resolved.

Shipping restrictions
In this age of identity theft, Sideshow Collectibles protects its customers and their financial information as much as possible. One of the ways that we do this is to only ship orders to the customer’s billing address or place of business. If you choose to send your order to your business address, then you will need to include your business name with that address information, otherwise we will send the item to your billing address.
