| These special Medallions, measuring nearly 6" (152 mm) in diameter, capture a moment of Middle-earth history in a beautifully handcrafted, low-relief scene, featuring the characters and creatures of this epic tale. Each Medallion in the series has been meticulously sculpted to the highest standards, hand-finished and supervised by the Sideshow / Weta art department. The original Medallion sculptures were created at the Weta Workshop, the same group who helped realize Peter Jackson's vision of Tolkien's world by assuming the responsibility for the conceptualizing, creation and the on set operation of the creatures, miniatures, armor, weapons and special make-up effects for all three films. These craftsmen had the unique opportunity to be intimately involved with the making of these films. They have now used their special perspective in fashioning a most unique assortment of collectible Medallions. | |

| A new Medallion releases roughly every month during each segment. The Fellowship installment began releasing in February of 2002 with the last medallion of that series becoming available in September of 2002. The Two Towers Medallions will begin releasing in January of 2003 with Medallion #9 The Uruk-hai Berserkers. The Return of the King Medallion release dates will be announced later in 2003. | |

| Each Medallion is hand-cast, aged and finished to resemble antique bronze. Each Medallion release is limited to no more than ten thousand hand-numbered units and comes complete with a hand-numbered certificate that tells the story of the scene depicted on the Medallion. These unique treasures are only available through the Sideshow / Weta Collectibles web site. Each Medallion released will surely occupy a unique place in the collectible offerings surrounding the upcoming films. | |

Each Medallion in the series includes a hand-numbered Certificate of Authenticity. The certificate has been die-cut to the shape of the Medallion and includes the Medallion title, the Medallion number, the signature of the sculptor, and a description of the scene depicted on the Medallion. Each certificate is printed on a high-quality acid-free paper.
Medallion buyers will be shipped random edition numbers from the production run. It is unlikely that a Medallion purchaser will receive the same Medallion edition number throughout the release of the 24 Medallions. |

| To purchase an individual Medallion, simply visit our Medallion page and click on the medallion of your choice. You can also purchase the Medallions in sets of 4 or even the entire collection. | When a Medallion is shipped to you, your credit card will be charged $25 plus $5.95 U.S. Shipping & Handling. Only when each Medallion ships will your credit card be charged. | For all customers outside the United States and UK, who wish to order, there is a four piece minimum quantity purchase. This order can be either a set(s) of four, or four individual pieces. This allows us to help our customers save international shipping fees on single Medallion items. If a set(s) of four or four individual items are ordered and any of those items are on pre-order status, all items will be held until the last item becomes available to ship. Sets will then be shipped with the bonus helmet item(s) together. | |

| The Medallions will ship the last week of every month beginning in February, '02. You will receive an email confirmation when the item is shipped. Standard United States UPS shipping is usually 4-6 business days for delivery. International delivery times vary. You may also track the status of your shipment through your Online Account. | |

When you purchase a single Medallion or multiple Medallions you can be sure that: 1. Our art department has carefully examined your product before it was shipped. 2. All items come with a 30 Day, full refund, 100% Satisfaction Guarantee. 3. If you return a Medallion, we will credit your account within one week of receiving your return. Please note that customers are responsible for the postage on return items and will not be refunded for those charges. 4. Your purchase of these Medallions has the potential to significantly appreciate over time. 5. Edition sizes will range from 1000 to 10,000 pieces. After the set edition size for each Series is reached the molds will be destroyed. |

We are very proud to offer these Medallion program to Lord of the Rings collectors; however, if you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, simply contact us within 30 days of receipt of any Medallion and we will assist you in returning the merchandise. In cases of set orders, refunds of any items within the set will nullify the free helm offer. |
