Battle Brother Amadeon bellowed at his fellow Space Marines to close ranks. Next to him, Brother Thraxius unleashed a deadly salvo from his missile launcher that exploded amongst the enemy. Brother Meridicus brought down a Termagant with a blast from his bolter then caught another with a backswipe of his fist. A swarm of aliens came at the Ultramarines, leaping through the blasts of fire. Rending claws ripped and tore at Hervictus as he skillfully parried with his chainsword, block, slash, block as each assailant fell before him. Gradually the Ultramarines fell back towards the antechamber of their shrine but pure faith in the God Emperor was the only thought in Hervictus' mind.
