How and when did you start collecting?

Like most kids, it started with sports cards and action figures, then shifted to comic books and love for movies. My brother and I had Robocop toys and even watched the movie as kids. Passion for dark, violent, gritty movies run in our blood. A lot of my collection ties to the appreciation of things made famous in the 80’s.

What do you collect? Does your collection have a theme, such as Star Wars Collectibles, Batman, etc.?

I’m a huge Batman fan. Although Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice wasn’t exactly the best story ever told, the portrayals of the characters, from casting to costume design was perfection. So the Batfleck display became a bit of a center piece, but the basement isn’t just comic books or super heroes, but a pop culture mix of movies and books alike.

What makes your collection unique?

I also think it’s a good mix of brands. I love NECA, Hot Toys, DC Collectibles Batman Black and White line, and I have even come to be a big fan of Mezco’s One:12 line.

What are your favorite or the most prized pieces in your collection?

The batsuit that was pieced together over time, my original Robocop poster, the Hot Toys Robocop with mechanical chair, and my most prized childhood toy that I reclaimed through eBay, a Superman action figure from ToyBiz.

What items are on your wish-list?

The Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice 1:6 batmobile. I’ve taken an interest in building dioramas and I’m currently attempting to build a section of the BvS Batcave with a rotating platform for a 1:6 vehicle. It’ll likely rearrange my entire room do to it’s size, but I just felt the need to try and make this build.
