The Thor Comic Creative Team Brings the Thunder with These Collection Photos!
Since the new take on this classic character launched in 2014, Jane Foster as Thor has become a modern Marvel comics mainstay. The Mighty Thor, the second comic series starring Jane Foster, was nominated for an Eisner award in 2017 for Best Continuing Series.
Recently, some of the creative team behind the series shared pictures of their very own Thor: Jane Foster Premium Format™ Figures as she brought the thunder to their collections!
Artist Russell Dauterman added Jane to his collection after having some fun posing the wired fabric cape and skirt elements. Before Thor, Russell was the artist on a Cyclops solo series for Marvel, as well as working as a costume designer for the film Captain America: The First Avenger.
Writer Jason Aaron proudly displayed his Jane alongside a variety of other Thor collectibles accumulated throughout his time on the series. Here, he also teased the coming of a comic story he has been planning and anticipating for years, presumably since the start of his Thor-writing career.
This week I’m writing a Thor story that’s been living in my head for years. Writing while she looks on. pic.twitter.com/iCY7uXF1rU

Colorist Matt Wilson shared a picture of his Thor alongside his 2017 Eisner Award for Best Coloring, an honor he received at this year’s San Diego Comic Con. He was nominated for his color work on The Mighty Thor, as well as on series like Black Widow, Star-Lord, and more.
We are so happy to see Jane Foster in the hands of the comic creators who have brought her to life over the past 3 years! Thank you, Russell, Jason, and Matt for sharing your awesome pictures. We can’t wait to see what’s next in the epic Thor saga. The thunder is strong!
