Sideshow is proud to present the Obi-Wan Kenobi: Desert Nomad Fine Art Print by artist Fabian Schlaga.
As a collection, Sideshow’s Mythos series are fine art collectibles that allow the collector to imagine what could have been, but maybe never was. Myths meant to be initiated by the eye and completed by the mind. The Obi-Wan Kenobi: Desert Nomad Fine Art Print imagines the legendary Jedi Master as a mysterious wanderer, as envisioned between the events of Revenge of the Sith and A New Hope.
Ben Kenobi has witnessed the destruction of the Jedi Order at the hands of the Empire, carrying the memories of his noble past on his back as he roams the shifting sands of Tatooine. Not yet Luke Skywalker’s mentor, the nomadic Jedi climbs the harsh dunes while scenes of danger play on the horizon behind him- from the rise of Darth Vader and his Death Star to the perils of the Tusken Raiders and scavenging Jawas in the shifting sands. Fabian Schlaga evokes the colors of the binary sunset throughout the composition as Obi-Wan searches tirelessly for a way to introduce a new hope to the galaxy.

About the Artist:
Fabian Schlaga was born in 1987 and, thanks to his father’s job, has spent most of his life moving from one country to another. His parents always considered themselves culturally educated people and as such there was no room for these so-called “superheroes” or whatever. So naturally, that’s exactly what got Fabian’s attention. Nowadays, whenever he’s not drawing atrocious monsters and/or busty ladies, he spends his time daydreaming about what he’d do if he were Akira.
