This fall, DC comics will launch two new comic imprints aimed at younger readers, titled DC Zoom, for middle school readers, and DC Ink, for young adult readers. The imprints will work with established young adult authors to create graphic novels featuring fan favorite characters Superman, Harley Quinn, and more.
Sunday’s 52nd Super Bowl drew in 103mil viewers, the smallest audience for the national broadcast in nine years. Conversely, the 14th annual Puppy Bowl hit a demographic rating high for Animal Planet, topping its 2010 record by 17%.
The upcoming Sabrina the Teenage Witch Netflix show has just cast actress Jaz Sinclair as Sabrina’s best friend Rosalind Walker. Inspired by the Chilling Adventures of Sabrina comics and originally pitched as a Riverdale spinoff, this series will launch with two 10-episode seasons that will begin filming this year.
Activision is reportedly planning new video game installments in the popular Crash Bandicoot franchise. After the success of last year’s Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy, it is rumored that Activision will be adapting the N. Sane Trilogy for Nintendo Switch and PC releases, and there may be an entirely new Crash game coming in 2019.
Wizards of the Coast has announced new book of lore and monsters coming to the Dungeons and Dragons 5th edition lineup. Mordenkainen’s Tome of Foes will be available in late May, and like Volo’s Guide to Monsters, the Tome will add new foes and character options for adventurers everywhere.
