Here are today’s headlines from the world of geek news.


In DC comics news…
DC’s highly anticipated new series Doomsday Clock begins today, bringing the Watchmen face to face with iconic DC heroes. Written by Geoff Johns with art by Gary Frank, the crossover was first hinted at when DC launched their Rebirth initiative in summer 2016.

In other comics news…
Writer Mark Millar has revealed a new Hit-Girl ongoing series, beginning in February 2018. Her return marks the tenth anniversary of the Kick-Ass series, and Kevin Smith will take over writing duties after Millar completes the first arc.

In Star Wars news…
With The Last Jedi arriving soon in theaters, Star Wars has released the official name of the ice foxes seen in some of the latest trailers. This dazzling creature is known as a Vulptex, and come from the planet Crait.

In gaming news…
Nintendo has just released Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp, the first free-to-play mobile game in the popular franchise, where players manage and decorate a campsite and befriend their cute animal neighbors.
