Disney and Marvel Studios have teased the start of their Phase 4 plans for the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Six release dates have been revealed for upcoming films between 2021 and 2022. The titles of these projects are currently all confidential, as the upcoming Avengers: Infinity War film could greatly change the Marvel cinematic landscape.
Season 3 of the hit Netflix series Stranger Things has just made some additions to the cast. Actress Maya Hawke will play a new character who begins to uncover the dark secrets of Hawkins, Indiana. Actress Priah Ferguson, who played Lucas’s scene-stealing sister Erica in Season 2, has been given a larger returning role. There is no release date for Stranger Things Season 3 yet.
Acclaimed author Neil Gaiman has announced that DC Comics is launching a Sandman Universe line of four new comic series. 30 years since the initial launch of The Sandman, this new Sandman Universe will add new characters and concepts to the mythos while also picking up story threads from Gaiman’s beloved comic book series.
Lionsgate is officially moving forward with the Highlander reboot, which has been in development for almost 10 years between various studios. The film has a finished script, written by Ryan Condal, and will enter pre-production in October. The Highlander reboot is aiming for a 2019 release.
Question Games has released a teaser trailer for their upcoming video game The Blackout Club. The horror game combines co-op strategy elements of Left 4 Dead with a plot reminiscent of Stranger Things and IT, as a group of teens uncover a terrifying conspiracy in their town. The Blackout Club is expected to launch in early 2019.
