Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 Has a Script, The Walking Dead Comes to Our World, and More!

Director James Gunn has teased that he has a working draft of the script for Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3. Sharing an image on Twitter, he posted the caption, “Every bit of my heart.” as it is clear he has a deep emotional connection to the series. Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 will serve as an epic conclusion to Marvel’s cosmic team trilogy and is expected to open sometime in 2020.


Actor Jeremy Irons is set to star in Damon Lindelof’s Watchmen series for HBO. Based on Alan Moore and Dave Gibbons’ iconic comic series, Watchmen takes place in an alternate history where superheroes are treated as outlaws. Irons joins previously cast Regina King, Don Johnson, Tim Blake Nelson, and more.


Nickelodeon has released the full animated theme song for its upcoming Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles series. This reimagining of the classic quartet puts Raphael as the leader of the turtle team, and the new series intro reveals a number of new villains. Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles will debut on Nickelodeon later this year.

20th Century Fox has released eight new character posters for the upcoming film Bad Times at the El Royale. Written, directed, and produced by Oscar-nominee Drew Goddard, the film takes place at a rundown hotel where seven strangers’ dangerous agendas violently collide. Bad Times at the El Royale stars Chris Hemsworth, Jeff Bridges, Nick Offerman, and more, and opens in theaters on October 5th.


AMC and Next Games have revealed a new trailer for The Walking Dead: Our World, a mobile game that brings the zombie apocalypse to your neighborhood. In this new augmented reality game, players will explore the real world, fight virtual walkers, and recruit key characters from the series to their team. The Walking Dead: Our World launches for iOS and Android devices on July 12th.
