Hulu Officially Revives Veronica Mars, Jeremy Davies Joins Arrowverse Crossover as Villain, and More!

Actor Jeremy Davies has been cast as a villain in the upcoming Arrowverse crossover event. Davies will be playing Dr. John Deegan, a doctor at Arkham Asylum whose schemes attract the attention of Supergirl, Arrow, and the Flash. The Gotham-inspired crossover will premiere on the CW on December 9th through the 11th.


Hulu has officially picked up the planned Veronica Mars revival, after developments began earlier this year. Kristen Bell will return as the title character for this new 8 episode series, which is slated to debut in 2019. Original series creator Rob Thomas will executive produce and write the first episode.


CBS has revealed a teaser video for its upcoming reboot of the Twilight Zone anthology series. The teaser announces that producer Jordan Peele will host and narrate the new show, which is exclusive to the CBS All Access streaming service. The Twilight Zone reboot will premiere some time in 2019.

Actor Alan Tudyk has been cast in the lead role of Syfy’s upcoming Resident Alien series. The show is based on the Dark Horse Comics series about an alien that crash-lands in Colorado and has to pass for human. Actors Corey Reynolds, Alice Wetterlund, and Sara Tomko will round out the show’s main cast.
