Incredibles 2 Breaks Box Office Records, James Wan Teases the Aquaman Trailer Debut, and More!

Disney’s latest animated feature had an absolutely incredible opening weekend. Incredibles 2 opened to $180 million at the worldwide box office, making it the biggest opening of all time for an animated film. The film also scored the eight-largest opening of all time for any film, making this a truly super debut for the highly-anticipated sequel.


Director James Wan shared a new logo on Twitter for DC’s upcoming film Aquaman. He also shared that the first trailer will be revealed during this year’s San Diego Comic-Con, after which point it will probably appear online. Aquaman opens in theaters on December 21st.


Actresses Emma Roberts and Taissa Farmiga will be returning to American Horror Story for the show’s 8th season. Creator Ryan Murphy recently announced that the next installation of the horror anthology show would blend together Season 1- Murder House, and Season 3- Coven. American Horror Story Season 8 premieres this September on FX.


IDW Publishing has teased the return of The Maxx by Sam Kieth, a comic about a hero who fights across two realities. The publisher recently printed a remastered collection of the original series, which ran for 35 issues in the 90’s. Sam Kieth previously stated he was done telling stories about The Maxx, but now there will be new content on the way later this year.
