New Aquaman Cast Photos Surface, The Grinch Gets a New Trailer, and More!

Entertainment Weekly has revealed new official cast images for DC’s upcoming Aquaman film. The seven photos include the first look at Black Manta, the film’s villain, as well as Aquaman’s mentor Vulko. The film stars Jason Momoa as the Atlantean hero, returning to the role after 2017’s Justice League. Aquaman is scheduled to make a splash in theaters on December 21st.


Illumination Entertainment has released the second official trailer for its upcoming adaptation of The Grinch. The film stars Benedict Cumberbatch as the famous green meanie, who hopes to ruin Christmas for all of Whoville. This animated feature is a new take on the source material, which has often been adapted for film. The Grinch opens in theaters on November 9th.

Telltale Games has officially partnered with Netflix to develop an interactive video game based on the hit sci-fi series Stranger Things. Similar to Telltale’s hit Game of Thrones adaptation, players will experience the same world as the Stranger Things Netflix series, and the game will work within the show’s canon. Plot details and release information are currently being kept secret.


According to Deadline, the classic British comic book character Minnie the Minx will soon be the subject of a live-action television comedy. Minnie was one of the key characters of the British Beano comic books, and the series will focus on the rebellious 13-year old as she causes chaos with her schoolmates. Beano Studios and Lime Pictures will develop the series.
