Tom Holland Reveals Spider-Man Sequel Title, Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom Dominates the Box Office, and More!

Over the weekend, Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom roared its way to over $150 million at the domestic box office. Combined with its overseas total, the film has crossed the $700 million mark, taking the lead over Pixar’s Incredibles 2, which had a second strong weekend at the box office.


In an Instagram post, actor Tom Holland leaked the title to the highly anticipated Spider-Man: Homecoming sequel. According to the reveal, the film will be titled Spider-Man: Far From Home, which has since been officially confirmed. Spider-Man: Far From Home will open in theaters on July 5th, 2019.


NBC has announced the fall premiere date for the third season of The Good Place. The popular fantasy comedy stars Kristen Bell and Ted Danson, and tells the story of four people who must navigate the quirky world of the afterlife. The Good Place Season 3 premieres on September 27th.


AMC has cancelled Kevin Smith’s pop culture series Comic Book Men after 7 seasons and 96 episodes. This unscripted reality series followed the antics of fanboys in a New Jersey comic shop owned by Kevin Smith. The writer-director and the former cast recorded a special podcast to eulogize the canceled Comic Book Men show.
